Pac was seen as the young upstart while Barrera was considered a faded champion. 29 is DOG OLD when you started your pro career at 16 years old like MAB did.
yeah you don't know what the hell you're talking about.

barrera had that plate since 1997.

barrera wasn't considered a faded champ.

he just beat hamed and morales and hbo fed him tapia and kelley to showcase him.

pac was nothing but a tuneup for barrera.

Barrera I agree, 2003 was the best Barrera I saw (IMO, it's arguable)

But Morales was defintely an old 28. Most defintely passed prime by 2005.

you are leaving out that Barrera decided to retire for a year or so after the Jones losses. not shot in any way.

He was also a huge underdog to Hamed, who was expected to crush him.

A great win that is as underated as the Morales win is over rated.

Why are you purposely leaving out the fact that MAB turned professional at 16 years old?

By the time he faced Pac he was 13 years in. Why are you refusing to comprehend this?

If Bernard Hopkins began his pro career at age 16, do you think he'd still be fighting today at age 50? I doubt it.

I started watching boxing when Tyson ko'd Spinks...

Don't confuse me with the legions of Pac worshippers who didn't know boxing existed until Pac vs. Hatton.

pac was not suppose to win barrera fight.

as a pac fan i was just hoping he was competitive, make some money and go back down to 122.

i thought pac was too small for 126. go figure.

morales rematches was needed. plus it was money.

plus there's something about rematching a guy who beat you.
