The reason froch gave for not fighting Hopkins is "what if I lose?"

    Those are his words

And that's the real reason his fanboys don't wanna see the fight

Since when did it become cool to count a fighters pockets

Stevenson ducked kovalev but he's getting 2 mil a fight to fight the shotskys of this world.
According to the same logic used to defend froch ducking Hopkins to wait for Chaves , Stevenson should also receive a pass.

And is Chaves jr even available to fight froch?

I don't think he's genuinely afraid, but I believe he does have some doubt. Truth is I would pick Froch to win if he fought Hopkins, but I wouldn't count Hopkins out.

Honestly I think Froch could blast him away, especially if Hopkins comes down to 168.

Hopkins is in a great spot. At the age of 50, any loss won't count against him, and any win makes him look extraordinary. I bet he can last 2-3 more years with this in mind.

Yes he did all be it by a murderous puncher, Nottingham would be convenient for Degale but anywhere in England, would like to see it.

I just about hate Hopkins but still think he would beat Carl on points

This has been the case with him for like 5 years now.

Looked like death on TV vs Roy Jones - "he's old"

                  Beat Pascal - "amazing"

Quit against Dawson then dominated by Dawson - "he's old"

Beat Cloud and Shumenov - "amazing"

****d and almost killed by Kovalev - "he's old"

Been the case for a while.

Froch shouldn't even be taken serious as a World class fighter anymore. He has pretty much admitted that all he wants is paydays and fights at certain venues against certain fighters - who aren't world class opposition.

He DOES NOT want the #1 guy in his division, who already beat him. HE DOES NOT want to move to win a Light-heavyweight title because he believes that he cannot win against current title holders. You mean to tell me, winning another title at a different weight class DOES NOT excite you?

Kovalev would take that fight in a heart beat - except maybe he wouldn't because he is too busy making defenses against top 175 opposition while also waiting on the "Ring Champion" Stevenson to man up.
