I agree to a certain extent. A couple of steps back setting up angles, counters and movement is fine with me. Sliding across the ring like Lara Canelo, that was Running!!!! Some even think Canelo lost. Hey to each his own.

get a radar gun at ringside. if a fighter like floyd goes above 10 mph then he gets punished. simple! also no more football field sized rings. that allows guys like floyd to get up to their maximum running speed.

This thread is showing who know boxing and who doesn't! We should dock points for head movement also!

The thing about that is; Floyd actually walked Shane down and did little to no running. Now he ran from Ghost though

mosley was a shot old man. floyd never should have been caught with 2 haymakers from someone so shot. i'm guessing he got complacent after he realized mosley had nothing.

Hell yes they should, especially if it is a PPV fight. People pay big money to see fireworks in PPV fights and the fighters should be expected to give the fans their money's worth. If they run for too many rounds, they should be kicked out of the PPV club and never be invited back again.

The worse part was Mosley launched those haymakers from a mile away. Those should have been easy punches for someone who is supposed to be master of defense to avoid. lol

I think the same thing about running. I know a lot of guys use movement, but some are just flat out running. At one point in his fight with Howard Eastman, Bernard Hopkins flat out turned his back and ran away.

Shouldn't points be taken away when a "fighter" does this?
Just make small rings like they do in Mexico 18 by 18 instead of those 24 by 24 that the runners use in the USA
