No, that is not what any journalist would do. Only the lazy ones. A good journalist doesn't sit around waiting on other journalist, that only pitches softballs, to bring them their stories. They will go get their own stories and they won't be afraid to ask the hard questions. They won't just favor one side like you want them to. They would ask them all the hard questions, (Bob, Mayweather, HBO, Showtime, and exec).

I'm studying as a Journalist so I'm well aware of what you mean but I said a "boxing" journalist. What stories? Who wants to hear sob stories about fighters who may never make it?

There are a select few boxers in this world who have a real fan base and thus not many that merit stories being written about them. As I said, if a journalist did an interview like this or got a press release etc, they would 100% milk as many stories from as many perspectives as they can think of.


I also said earlier in a post that they should ask Arum the real questions but he most likely either has the questions screened before he talks or else refuses to answer, forcing the editor to cut it from film.
