So what's the delay? That meant two things:

    • MAYWEATHER IS NOT HIS OWN BOSS
    • MAYWEATHER may not be interested
I'm not really sure what' you're trying to say. Are you saying that because Floyd claims to be his own boss, then this fight should happen if it's what he wants?

It takes two to tango. Isn't it possible that the other side hasn't agreed to all terms (which is what is now evident). Also, isn't it also possible that the networks have to work out their deal (again, this is clearly the case).

I think you are confusing him stating that he is HIS OWN boss with him stating that he is the boss of the entire damn world. He obviously can't control what the other en****** are willing to do. He is not the boss of showtime. He is not the boss of Manny Pacquaio.

I hope Espinoza was packing his desk during this interview.

These "negotiations" are a joke that they are lasting this long if Floyd wanted it "so" badly. Yeah, he's his own boss.

Exactly what I meant...he still have to answer to somebody. Showtime pays him...so he can't brag about him being his own boss. Everybody has to answer to someone higher than oneself.

Sure he doesn't have a promoter like Arum per se...but still highly dependent on other agencies or he won't get paid.

        NO ONE IS SELF-SUSTAINING.

Here's the thing that most people overlook (specially Floyd staunch supporters). No matter what, whether directly or indirectly he is being affected by Pacquiao's presence and successes on the ring and the economic factors.

He is being bedeviled in both sides...his reputation and his ring legacy.
