1st time the fight was done but Pacquiao wouldn't take the blood test

2nd time Floyd offered 40 million Pac said no now if it was a good deal or not is up for debate but Pac was on the phone and didn't even make a counter offer

Then Pacquiao got knocked out Floyd can't fight him coming off a loss so we had to wait a for Pac to build himself back up

It's clear to anyone rational that floyd wants the fight but we don't need anyone from showtime saying anything. Same as we don't need anything from arum.

Arum imo is using the media to make it look like Floyd's fault should he advise Manny to pull out again as what happened the first time. But I think Manny won't do that this time. I think Floyd and Manny are doing everything to make the fight.

So I'm left to wonder why Bob and now this Showtime vp are making these comments. I can only figure the networks have issues.

Somebody totally forgot what Freddie Roach told everyone. When Pacquiao was practically "invincible" his team walked from the fight over Olympic style testing. That isn't an assertion, it is a fact that Roach has candidly admitted. Plenty has happened between then and now, but your post is basically wrong.

Bob Arum was playing down the fight and Espinoza says he thinks it will get done and It's Floyd/Showtime blocking the fight? It quite clear Arum is trying to soften the blow for when he tries to weasel Manny out of this fight.

Arum is the worst! I think Moonves has done a good job, thus far, keeping the media silence, and keeping Floyd silent at the same time. However, no one can control Arum's mouth, and that could be bad. I would love to hear from Freddie Roach right now, since it was he who set up the meeting with Arum and Moonves. I think Roach's comments could put some pressure on Arum, or at least put Arum on notice that his PR stunts aren't going to work. Arum might feel he doesn't need Haymon, but Roach has fighters who do!
