The way it is according to a lot of boxing afficionados that have voicerd their opinions. It is Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Show Time that is preventing the fight to happen. Do the analysis...Floyd made the announcement that he is ready to fight the Pacman and he even mentioned the date May 2 (he did not mention the year), Pacman readily responded and even showed a lot of excitement that the fighjt between him and Floyd is eventually happening. Then Floyd started with his demands (as usual). The Pacman immediately agreed to all these demands including the 40/60 split Mayweathers favor. Then the issue between HBO and SHOWTIME surfaced, the issues has to be settled before the fight can take place. A lot of time wasted and the boxing world is getting impatient. Finally HBO made the announcement that as far as their side is concerned...the fight is a GO. Showtime until today is not saying anything of what they are asking for to make this fight to happen. A very clear analysis...Floyd is under contract with Showtime to make several fights and will be paid Hundreds of millions dollars. There are still a few fights left before this contract will be over. Floyd and Showtime are very much afraid of what will happen to Floyd in fighting the great Manny Pacquiao. The Pacman is known to be very nice to all his previous opponents ... Floyd and Showtime knows it very clearly that Manny will be differernt when he fights Floyd. Manny will enjoy every minute in beating up Floyd. Floyd will be left with a face completely disfigured. He will look so bad and he will be left with an ugly face that only a mother could love. Showtime knows that if this happens...they will lose a lot of money because Floyd will be retiring and cannot fulfill the contract.Comment

Good post. SHO would look like even bigger idiots than they are if Pacquiao sparks Floyd out. Not only did they overpay him by $16 million last year but hes been horrible embassador for the SHO brandThe way it is according to a lot of boxing afficionados that have voicerd their opinions. Floyd wouldn't be able to say hes undefeated anymore (Real boxing fans know he isn't)
Meanwhile on the other side
HBO said their ready
Pacquiao himself said he been ready
How clearer can it get? Floyd and SHO are ducking like it went out of styleComment

It's clear to anyone rational that floyd wants the fight but we don't need anyone from showtime saying anything. Same as we don't need anything from arum.
Just stfu and announce the fight is signed.Comment
