Watching Peter fight is brining back to the days of David Izon. Just another Nigerian fighter with limited skill and a big punch.

I remember the Lewis fight, but Lewis is a huge puncher and Briggs was down a few times before the fight was stopped.

Peter is limited it's true; but if he could get Wladimir in trouble, he could knock Briggs out. Briggs is nothing special and would succomb to the pressure of the event as much as the pressure Peter would put on him.

You may be right...I just dont' have that much faith in Briggs. He's on the down side of his career while Peter is only 25 or so...and I'm thinking, surely, his team is working on tightening up his skills because damn was he exposed in the Klitshko fight.

Before that fight, I was telling everyone who would listen that Wlad was going to outbox him and got called nuts for it. Briggs, to me, just is one of those guys that always falls a hair short and, at this stage of his career, I can't see him beating a younger, hungrier kid. 'Course, I've been wrong before.
