Briggs has sent him an unsigned contract and Peter sent it back to him unsigned.
Yeah, I've read that; but also read a rebuttle from Dino Duva that jumped all over Briggs and his people. I'm of the mindset that if I wasn't there and part of the negotiations, then I effectively don't know **** about it...and hold off on the judgements.
If that's the way it happened though, that doesn't speak highly of Peter's people wanting to prove their man the best out there.

Duva said no way he is paying Briggs 600K and the Briggs said I'll do it for 400K. Duva can make this fight happen if he really wanted to, instead he wants Peter to fight J.Long.
Actually that fight won't happen. Briggs has one more fight coming in May against Chris Koval, then he will fight wither the winner of Klitschko/Byrd, or more likely the winner of Maskaev/Rahman. Right now Peter is getting no love in the boxing community. If for some reason Arum or King backs out of their deals for Shannon to fight a title shot, then maybe at the end of they year we'll see Peter/Briggs. I do find it unlikely though.
I thought the winner of Byrd/Wlad was fighting Brewster.
