So Wilder turned down 10M for Povetkin.

I don't see the issue because eventually he is going to want to fight Wlad and Povetkin as there is money there. I assume he is serous about making money but that also doesn't mean jumping at the first big offer thrown your way. Those fights are going to be there and if he drops the ball and loses before he gets there then whatever who cares about him he wasn't even that good.
It is a risky fight but that doesn't exactly mean he can't win either~
What is the rush?Comment

Dunn lost his marbles again
I've explained to you several times how the situations are nothing alike but if you don't know now, then you'll never know.
Your narrative at first was that we call every time a fighter turns down a fight a duck. No Dunn, every situation is different and requires its own analysis. In this case there is no good reason for Wilder to turn down 10 times his largest purse. No amount of you squirming and changing the subject will change that.
He can turn down any fight he wants, just like hatton did. The only reason you called it a duck was because Wilder is an American. Your failure to answer the questions asked, especially the one about did hatton duck, makes that clear. Bigjavi confirmed it when he posted what you posted about frampton and quigg, oddly also Brits.Comment

That's a ridiculous offer that, like many in boxing, is just PR. They know there's zero chance of that happening, so they make the offer and then say "He's ducking!."
You want the title, you go take it. Whether it's Wladimir Klitscho, Andre Ward, Takashi Uchiyama, etc etc. Wilder's options are many, and what Povetkin is doing is basically offering to buy the title, having Wilder come to his backyard with far less experience than the guys he's facing, which is something that happens all the time in boxing.
And guys go for it, because they don't have a lot of options. But Wilder does, and he's looking at a Klitschko shot, for the real championship, not pawning off his title to Povetkin simply for money. The money is coming regardless.
Yeah it is too much to expect a world champion to ever travel to defend their belts, I mean where is this Moscow place anyway, a suburb of Anchorage?Comment

Yet again not answering the questions asked. What a piece of ****.

Wow, this thread has exploded so I doubt anyone will read my comment. I feel that if this is true then Wilder would have taken the fight. $10 million for one fight is a whole lot of money and I feel Wilder is more than capable of blasting Povetkin out of there in less than six rounds. I think Wilder would KO Povetkin in five rounds after softening him up. Stick and move and pick your shots wisely like he did against Stiverene. Povetkin wouldn't have an answer for Wilder and people forget Povetkin is 35 years old and Wilder is only 29 and in his prime.Comment
