He wasn't offered $10m to fight elsewhere.

Did he turn down ridiculous money to fight someone else? Not comparable.

I love how all of a sudden guys who pay no attention to the heavyweight division are experts because some American now holds some belt.

IDC how much money they make. I dont make that the focal point of boxing. Seems like you do.

Do you know who Wladimir fought for his first defense? Charles Shufford. Then an old Ray Mercer and a number of other stiffs until he eventually built himself into the fighter he is today.

The same with Canelo. So let's not pretend this is something new. Nobody recognizes Wilder as the true champion anyway so from his teams perspective they are going to take advantage of whatever is in Wilder's best interest. Just like the other fighters did.

Do I like it? No. Do I understand it? Yes.

I've also clearly stated Wilder should fight a top three fighter at the minimum.

So what's the focal point to you, the best fighting the best? because if he's not fighting Klitschko, Povetkin is ranked the next best.

Coming from the most pathetic user on the forum whose entire existence revolves around posting the same five things over and over in Pac-May threads, that means absolutely nothing

Ok so what do you care about? "Fighting da best"?

So why doesn't he take this fight?

You are getting desperate in your defence of your hero now.

Wlad has fought in EIGHT countries by the way.

I'm sure Povetkin would be happy to come to the good ol' US of A. All Wilder and his sugar daddy Haymon need to do is match (or exceed) the purse offered by the Russians.

I wont hold my breath waiting for that one.
