This is why boxing sucks, fans actually encourage and applaud not fighting the best. They prefer their idol to face inferior competition so they keep the belt.

Do you know who Wladimir fought for his first defense? Charles Shufford. Then an old Ray Mercer and a number of other stiffs until he eventually built himself into the fighter he is today.
