So Wilder turned down 10M for Povetkin.

To answer your question, Fury will be Wilder's big fight in 2015. If the $10M is a legitimate offer, it will be there in 2016. No reason to rush straight to the best HW in the world not named Wladimir when there is a much more exciting fight to be made (Fury) and when that heavyweight will still be there in 2016. Probably for even more money.

Relax buddy. Don't treat everything you read on the internet as gospel. Especially when it's a small blurb on a Russian boxing website.

Of course, he's American so he's allowed to turn down $10m and take cream puff fights instead.
Bermane Stiverne is Haitain/Canadian but if you want me to list the numerous examples of belt holders defending their titles in other countries, I could if you want?
Why does it matter where the fight is if he's getting 10 million? Wilder has also talked of facing Fury in the UK.....why not Povetkin in Russia?Comment

Haymon and Finkel are not known for challenging their title holders, so it shouldn't surprise anyone.
Don King would probably not fare much better in making good fights.
But let's see who Wilder's next opponent is.

Anyway, if Wilder can afford to turn down $10 million dollars that's on him. If it's Haymon turning it down on his behalf then that's a shame.Comment
