    Agreed.

It goes to show what an incredible fighter Andre Ward is/was.

Groves and Bute....you're ridiculous. Both had like 1-2 legit wins max. Solid wins for Froch, but not Lara level wins either.

I can look at Erislandy Lara and say he's a better fighter than Pascal, Abraham, Kessler, etc. Idk man.

Abraham has like 2 good wins. Dirrell has a single good win, and Froch didn't even really win that fight if you ask a lot of people. Taylor has like 3 good wins, and hadn't done **** in a minute when Froch fought him. Pascal and Kessler both are good wins nearing Lara IMO. But I just think Lara is a better fighter than them.

I'm in no way a Canelo fan, but that was a serious move for him to fight Lara and actually win. Hardly anyone thought he'd actually fight Lara, or Trout. Give the kid his props.
It's not always about who you beat but how you beat them. Froch has been way more dominant and impressive in his victories than Canelo and Lara as well.

True that. Corrales' losses have come against elite fighters: Floyd, Casamayor and Castillo. We're not talking about Kessler or Dirrell here.

Let's talk about resume now. Between 2003 and 2005, Chico fought:

        Casamayor
        Casamayor
        Freitas
        Castillo
        Castillo

He went 3-2 against these guys. Wins over Casamayor and Castillo - maybe even Freitas - are better than anything Froch has on his resume. Froch's resume may be deeper but Chico has the best single wins. Just a fun fighter...

Only ignorants would claim that any Mayweather opponent is better than Froch. Come on...

Froch defeated Bute as a massive underdog, only after that did people start calling Bute a bum. Why did everyone forget about him being the bigger, younger, faster, morehardhitting and skilled boxer than Froch before they fought?

Froch defeated a prime undefeated Pascal, which was certainly no joke, Pascal is kinda comparable to Cotto levelwise. Both had some okay-but-not-great wins, such as Diaconu and Malignaggi, and both had some not-good-but-not-horrible neither losses to guys like old Hopkins and Trout. Actually, I would even rate Pascal above Cotto.

Don't forget how good Mikkel Kessler is, Froch's win against him is easily the best win of his career, Mayweather got no victories on par with this one.

Mayweather needs Manny Pacquiao to get a win against an opponent better than Froch. Timothy Bradley is around the same level as Froch, though, so if Mayweather defeated Bradley, then I would say yes, he would have a win on par with Froch.

As much as I dislike Ward for being lazy and never doing anything, his resume is far superior to Mayweathers.

Hmm, I didn't really phrase my question correctly, what I really want to know is which win on Floyd's resume is better than a win against a prime Carl Froch?
