Froch is very tough and fought pretty much everybody there was to fight, i respect him massively for that, however if you're rating him on his actual wins or performances, then is willingness to fight everybody overshadows his actual success in the fights.

Lost to Ward, got a gift against Dirrell in my opinion. Went life and death twice with a Kessler who was past his best and lost one of those fights. But thats what makes a fighter, you fight the best around your weight class, you win some and you lose some.

I have a huge respect for him but he should not be painted up as an extraordinary talent. He's just a good world class fighter but Floyd has fought opponents who are more talented than Froch.

You would be mistaken. Don't get me wrong Froch is one of the best to come out of UK, certified HOF and has a deep resume. However unbeaten Hatton is arguably better coming of a Tzyu win. Nobody Froch beat is better than Mayweathers best opponents. So how is Froch better than any of Mayweathers wins.
