At the time Floyd beat them, maybe corrales and castillo, everyone else was not on frosh's level or not in their primes when floyd fought them.

Froch defeated a prime undefeated Pascal, which was certainly no joke, Pascal is kinda comparable to Cotto levelwise. Both had some okay-but-not-great wins, such as Diaconu and Malignaggi, and both had some not-good-but-not-horrible neither losses to guys like old Hopkins and Trout. Actually, I would even rate Pascal above Cotto.

Don't forget how good Mikkel Kessler is, Froch's win against him is easily the best win of his career, Mayweather got no victories on par with this one.

Mayweather needs Manny Pacquiao to get a win against an opponent better than Froch. Timothy Bradley is around the same level as Froch, though, so if Mayweather defeated Bradley, then I would say yes, he would have a win on par with Froch.

As much as I dislike Ward for being lazy and never doing anything, his resume is far superior to Mayweathers.
Wow so many things wrong in this post. The funniest being "Pascal is comparable to Cotto level wise" and the gem "I would rate Pascal over Cotto"

Not one single win is better than a prime Carl Froch.

What are Froch's best wins? Groves, Bute, Kessler, and Pascal?

If they were the same size, Floyd would school Froch.

Froch's best wins are Kessler, Pascal, Bute, Abraham, Taylor and Groves. Show me even ONE of Mayweather's opponents who had similar wins and wasn't shot like DLH.

Yes, Floyd is a better boxer than Froch, everyone knows that, Floyd just haven't beaten an opponent on par with Froch.

                    Really?????

Diego Corrales was one of the most feared guys in the sport at the time and #5 P4P going into their fight. Would go on to win titles at LW as well.

Jose Luis Castillo is the best Lightweight of his era, fought and beat pretty much any LW around, and was universally seen as THE GUY there.

Oscar.....I agree. He was past his prime. But that fight needed to happen.

Ricky Hatton was undefeated and #8 P4P.

Juan Manuel Marquez.....even in 2009 at WW is a better fighter than Carl Froch. Marquez would go on to legitimize that win for Floyd by beating Pacquiao at WW.

Shane Mosley was the #3 P4P fighter going into their fight, though he was past his best.

Miguel Cotto isn't prime but he sure as hell wasn't past it in 2012, and is a better fighter than Carl Froch.

Canelo is in his prime or the early stages of it, and was coming off a huge win over Trout.

All these guys will be seen as better wins than Froch or at least as good.

I'll name two for you. Shane Mosley and Miguel Cotto.
