LEwis was fast that evening, he personally performed very well. That statement was false. He was tired because he got smashed.

He did legit win, that's true.

Age wise he was near prime, condition wise he was near prime. His weight was nothing drastic, he was trained already for top-contender Johnson so no excuses.

Last statement was the worst. Lewis used the excuse that he didn't want to fight Vitali even BEFORE the Johnson fight, that he wanted clearance for his eye first, to which Vitali responded...

"All of the doctors have given me clearance... Lewis is ducking me now!"

After promising rematch.

On the contrary, even though the fight was a technical loss for Vitali, I've never seen another instance in the 150 years of boxing where a passing of the torch has been done in such style! VK basically had the other boxer running for cover.

So I was looking at this fight again tonight but just last night I was watching Lewis Holyfield and damn .. it looks like two totally different fighters

Lewis was way past prime yet he still managed to beat Vitali into submission via 6th round tko
