With that said, my point still stands, without injury or cuts Lennox Lewis would lose to Vitali 10 out of 10 times, and he knows it. That's why he reacted the way that he did after the fight, he finally fought a fighter that he knew that he couldn't beat.

I don't think Lewis was shot but I don't think he was in very good shape. I also think he realized what kind of torture he would need to put himself through to stay on top of Wlad and Vitali and he just wasn't up to it and retired.
