Floyd did make a ridiculous offer, he went on record saying Pacquiao isn't getting that flat $40 million fee he would have earned a few years ago. After that all the talk from Floyd has been "Manny isn't his own boss." I'm not really seeing efforts to make the fight here.

In any case the valley between one camp saying "we agreed to everything" and the other camp saying "there is no agreement" is huge. If there's a hold-up in terms then what is it?
Did you not hear about the 60/40 split offer of the PPV revenues? Arum, the guy you believe over any Haymon guys, is the one that said this.

Similar to the fact that when Arum says something that fits haters agendas, Arum is telling the Gospel truth!! But when Arum says something that does not fit the haters agendas, he is nothing but a liar!! Funny how that works.

I have no idea what the contract situation is. Everyone has reported the 60-40 split, not just Arum. But that's not my point anyway. I'm asking: if there isn't an agreement on Floyd's end or if the terms aren't satisfactory, then what's the hold-up. If there's something Pacquiao's camp is holding out on, then why have we not heard about it? Why are we instead hearing that there's no agreement at all as if these guys haven't been negotiating for the last month.

I don't have a definite answer to this question like you or anyone else does. But I would imagine Floyd isn't saying anything (And I don't think Arum should be saying anything either), because we all know how fragile these negotiations can be. Say one wrong thing, and the bridge can collapse. And we both know that the bridge between Floyd and Arum is a very fragile one. So I do believe that they should go into these negotiations very cautiously. But out of the two, Floyd has offered (say what you will, you don't **** around with 40 mill to not make the fight), and according to sources, 60/40 split of the PPV revenue. So I'm not going to sit here and say Floyd doesn't want the fight. The longevity of the negotiations should be a reason to believe that they are still trying and they do in fact, still want the fight to happen. If the fight doesn't happen, it isn't because either Floyd or Pac didn't want it, but someone else didn't want it.

The point was made in clear reference to the notion that Arum doesn't want the fight, regardless of how hard he's spinning the media. Floyd, practically since the end of Maidana 2, has said that his next fight would be May 2, 2015 with no mention of who the opponent would be.

If Arum refuses to come to terms, which Mayweather and Espinoza have stated are still being discussed and no one at Showtime, HBO, CBS, Time Warner or any other party not named Bob Arum has corroborated, Mayweather will move on to other options; a second fight with Miguel Cotto for the lineal middleweight championship, or a US/UK PPV against Amir Khan, are the two likely shoices.

Floyd is about to commit the most shameful and embarrassing duck in the history of the sport. Book it!

Right. When Arum spoke about May 2nd being a Mexican date, they even took Arum out of context and ran with that. Now that they heard Arum accepted that, they are all quiet about that.

The thing is that they have nothing to come back with. Arum said they agreed on everything and there is no one from Floyd's side that said what Arum is lying about.
