And so the downfall of Canelo and Oscar begins lol. Lemieux wouldnt be bad and I figure they may go that route.
Either way its not a PPV worthy fight, and I doubt he fights on May 2nd. As for everyone calling Cotto a duck and a diva cuz negotiations took to long, its amazing he signed a contract for Floyd less than 2 weeks after he left TR......its obvious Oscar and Canelo were pushing for a crap split. What has Cinnamon done? Got a gift against Lara and got schooled by Floyd and barely beat a mediocre Austin Trout......wowwwww, but Oscar thinks hes the A side lmfao.

heard from many people that from beginning Cotto was very adamant a Canelo fight happen in June, in MSG for the Puerto Rican day Parade
clearly cotto knows not to compete with may vs pac on may 2nd cuz cotto canelo WILL NOT MAKE ANY MONEY!!! looks like canelo is being the "diva" cuz of that "may 2 date"

Cotto vs Margarito 2 was on the verge of not being made because Cotto who was fighting at 154 at the time was insistent on making it a catch weight and wanted a rehydration clause. Arum finally got them to agree at 153.
Cotto vs Martinez: Martinez was so sick of the negotiations, he's the one that began calling Cotto a diva.
Now Cotto vs Canelo.
Again the date is insignificant. Cotto's own advisor admitted that Oscar and Canelo were willing to move the date if May/Pac gets made. He also admitted that Canelo would have no problem fighting in NYC. This is all Cotto being the diva he is.
