I'm Puerto Rican and the truth is, Cotto isnt THAT much more popular nor a draw than Canelo at this point. Both have their cultural following and at this point I would say that Canelo's mexican fanbase is bigger than Cotto's PR fanbase.

What Cotto has over Canelo is longevity in the sport but he also has some bad losses. One to Trout and one to Pacquiao. In one he was completely outboxed and the other he was straight up demolished by a natural 140lber.

Canelo can say he holds the ppv buy record along with Floyd. Without Canelo Floyd would have done half of what he did if that.

You sir deserve an award for being one of the most REALISTIC Cotto fans I've even seen in my lifetime. Too bad there aren't more like you.

Exactly, point blank there are alooooooot of Mexicans compared to PR's. The fanbase for Canelo and Cotto is not even close in terms of numbers.
