What's up with these dudes choking on the big stage and then calling out Mayweather?

Lara and Matthysse both had a clear path to the Mayweather fight and blew golden opportunities in winnable fights against vulnerable "big name" opponents.

Who cares if he lost to Danny Garcia, Amir Khan got bombed the hell out by Garcia inside 4 rounds. Its just a loss. Just because you lose to a lesser fighter doesn't mean you're no threat to one who is deemed greater.

Its a better fight stylistically than Danny Garcia who admittedly would be more deserving. Its a better fight than Thurman and a lot of these other names thrown around.

Styles make fights. I think its obvious that Matthysse can give Floyd a real questioning. If he gets a good win or two then why not? He will not go easy. There is no fighter that is going to have an easy time with Matthysse.

The truth is Floyd and Manny are the only A level fighters at welterweight. Its like you beat say Bradley - people are just going to say Bradley should of lost to Provo, he struggled with Chaves, lost to Manny twice.
And so on with other fighters.
Why not have someone from the second tier lot that presents problems from a stylistic standpoint?
It seems to me fans are happy with Manny/Floyd fighting second tier opposition but just not the ones that will ever cause much problems.

Who cares if Garcia beat Khan, lets have Floyd fight Khan over Garcia for the fact I pay to see competitive fights. Pick 'em fights. Who cares if Garcia beat Matthysse, hes stylistically a much bigger problem to the big two, Floyd especially, than Garcia is.
**** Jesse Vargas too and his undefeated record and paper title, hes no threat anyone.

I dont get why ppl get mad for calling out the biggest name in the sport for the biggest payday. Never hurts to antagonize other fighters, especially if it calls for the biggest payday of ones career.

Happens all the time, besides, if I was in any position to call out either Floyd or Manny, I would lol, Id enjoy a 7 figure payday even if I took an L.

Name me one half decent pressure fighter that Floyd hasn't had problems with.

I hope he fights Broner or Provo. An Algeiri fight would also be good and you still have Bradley out there

You have to give Floyd fans that, they know styles and know exactly which fighters present a great risk of taking that precious little '0'.
You don't earn a fight just because you present a problem to somebody stylistically. Actually, that gives the champion more of a reason to not fight you. You have to capitalize when you get to the big stage to create demand for the fight and Matthysse did not do that.

Another fighter that Haymon told him that he might get Floyd. No different than Arum telling fighters they will get a crack at Pac

Lucas isnt a half decent pressure fighter. N ok so there u have it, Lucas has a punchers chance, which gets him next to nothing against the best defensive fighter of this era .
