The beloved figure that is Ali wasn't like that in the 60s it's just the passage of time people are forced to appreciate what he did in the ring and him rejecting the war made him a hero outside of it but from everything I've seen or read he was hated in his prime
Jack Johnson
Ali
Tyson
Mayweather
Were all outspoken and depised by the public when they were at their best
notice a trend.
Stop ****ing pretending black fighters are hated. All of you, just stop. You sound ****ing ridiculous because you're being ****ing ridiculous. The most beloved athletes in American history are all black. There's literally zero case to be made that America doesn't support black athletes. It's ****ing ******ed to argue for it.

Because most men feel sexually threatened by a handsome heavyweight like wilder who talks a big game and is supremely confident. Subconsciously men are scared that Wilder can and might beat them up and steal their girlfriends.
Every time male boxing fans see a confident good looking champion who talks a big game and get a lot of women, they want to see him fall. It's the same thing with amir khan and david haye.
Jealousy at its finest.

Cut the racism BS fellow humans. Why the hate campaign against Wilder? He seems to be a good person in post fight interviews, and I don't hear a lot of trash from him, or him bragging about his wealth. His fights are great and entertaining, 32 KOs in 32 wins no loss at age 29. I think he will beat Stiverne this weekend, Stiverne has a lesser record than him, 24 wins 1 loss/KO 1 draw at age 36.
I even think he has a solid chance of beating Klitschko becuase he is also tall at 6'6''. Only downside for me is that Wilder is taking too long to end the reign of Vladimir, I waited for a while now.

Mayweather brought on the hate though by taking on the role of the villain. People don't buy his PPV's just to see Mayweather cause he's boring, they buy it to see him lose that 0. This guy's the most popular boxer in America, yet how many of his crowds have ever been pro Mayweather, I don't think any.
Even the fights I've personally been to I don't think I've ran into a pro Mayweather fan. I live in a heavily populated hispanic state where the N-word gets tossed around like hot potato at Mayweather fights, people want to see this guy lose.

People will get on the Wilder bandwagon if he wins.
Right now people just don't know if he's really good or not. Like myself I WANT to believe he's the truth but he's very unproven. His power is legit though I don't care what anyone says.
