They didn't dodge the bullet known as Andre Ward though, they're going to feel so ****** when they realize they paid a guy millions of dollars and he can't even sell out a bingo hall or get more than 1.2 million viewers on television.

This clown could have at least turned down damn good money with some class. To act like he's bigger & better than 40 million is what's wrong with boxing. Here's to hoping he gets sparked a pisses away career money.

5 years, 3 fights per is 15 fights.

        $40m / 15 = $2.7 mil per.

Haymon can get him that I would think.

He made 1.2 million for the his biggest fight of his career and you think he's going to get 2.7 million for stepping stone fights and an occasional hbo main event?

Haymon will have to be a magic man to get him that kind of deal.

That's what I'm saying. Some people here actually think they offered him more the he's worth knowing he would reject it. Which makes no sense at all. Who does that?

Broner is my dude and to me it was a smart move....He has been building a following for being exciting in the ring and out of the ring.

$40 million for 5 years and 10 fights is only 4 million a fight.

He plans on fighting 3-4 times a year for the next 5 years. He is still a young un'.....Floyd and Manny are retiring in the next two years, Bradley may as well considering he has been in some tough fights the past few years.

140-147 BIGGEST names will be Broner, Khan, Thurman, Danny Garcia, and Matthyssee....with a few more wins and especially wins over those guys he will potentially start making 8-10 mill a fight....people love to hate Broner....you never jump @ your first big offer, and always be away of your worth in the future.

that vid was hilarious. honestly, i don't have a problem with him turning that deal down. if he plays his cards right he should be able to make more than that in 5 years.

Only 4 million a fight? You do realize that Broner was paid 1.2 million to fight Maidana in the most high profile fight of his career WHICH HE LOST?
