4 Million per fight, for the next five years is not bad, when you consider he already got his arse handed to him by Maidana who by no means is an elite fighter.
Not bad? That is an amazing offer, probably double what he will make in the next 5 years so long as he keeps winning.

If he loses one fight he will be back to square one working his way back up to the million dollar paydays hes making now lol he could have signed and took the guaranteed money and if he really is that great which he isn't, at the end of five years he could command what he is worth then, which could either be way more or alot loss depending if he wins all his fights or not.

He is not going to make Manny pacquiao or Floyd mayweather money anytime soon fighting the likes of Pauli malignaggi or Marcos maidana. He needs to fight a Manny pacquiao or Floyd mayweather and beat them to even start making half that kind of money. He already said he wont fight Floyd so that's out of the question, and he works for al haymon who wont let his fighters near pacquiao.

Think about it, Manny and Floyd had to consistently beat great fighters to start commanding the kind of money their making now. Manny had already crushed Barrera twice, Morales twice, Marquez twice, and had a bunch of ppv fights under his belt before he started making 4 million a year. He then had to beat de la Hoya and Ricky Hatton in dramatic knockout fashion to start making the kind of money he is now. Adrian Broner hasn't even begun to start on that kind of path and it would likely take at least 5 years if he started now facing all the elite opponents and consistently beat them. Just let that soak in for a second to all those idiots who agree with broner

I'm not sure, i will have to look into it

However they will come as long as he keeps winning, it's all about branding. Broner for all his failings, is a very lucrative entity. He could lose again and still comeback, his style and mouth make for compelling viewing. He is very similar to Amir Khan because one punch can change it all for him.

In the great scheme of things 40mil is not worth the risk and the future of rn is still in question

Amir King Khan is worth over $40 mil right now, even after 3 losses, i am sure Broner can reach 40 mil within a few years
Lmao how much do you really think broker will make in endorsements with his thug/rapper image? Mayweather is the biggest star in boxing and doesn't have a single endorsement, how much would broker who's whole existence is based off of trying to be duckweather will make? Your point is null and void

If Amir Khan can make millions off endorsements, a American like Broner can also.

Also i think Broner can garner more from fights than someone like Khan.

With Floyd on his way out, there will be doors opening, at 140 Broner can keep winning. With potential big fights with Garcia, Petterson, and Lucas down the road.

Thug rapper image seems to be working for rappers, it didnt harm Jayz

The fact is roc nation would either break even or lose money with that 40 million offer if its real. The reason there throwing that kind of money just to break eve. Or even lose money is because its extremely hard to break into boxing. Look how hard of a time 50 cent is having trying to get his fighters fights. Nobody except top rank will work with him imagine that lol. Roc nation is trying to build a name in boxing so they will take losses in the beginning to become a name in the industry and then they can make real money. Its an investment just like any other that you have to spend alot to even have a chance to become profitable

              • I think Jayz got the message. Bronra was negotiating in his language.

I'd go as far to say its 4 times what he will make in the next 5 years. Lets be honest here, how is a guy who made only 1.2 million at the peak of his popularity vs Maidana going to rake up anywhere near 10 million dollars a year? He's flushed money down the toilet before, and now he's just flushed 40 million dollars down a virtual toilet. I think Broner will average 2 million dollars a year, probably get paid $500k each fight and 1 million for a big name fight.

That's not true at all. Big companies want an athlete who doesn't swear and has class to represent them, thats why Floyd has no sponsors and was whining about Manny Pacquiao's Nike deal and thats why Jon Jones was dropped by Nike, a nike deal which only paid him 20k a year because he begged them for it and he dropped his less classy but higher paying sponsors rofl

Here is Roger Federer's sponsors. Literally every big company wants their brand associated with him
