Not sure, neither do i have a clue where does he think he is going to be making 2 million a fight for the next 5 years with his highest fight ever being about half that, and I doubt he will be fighting top class opposition in every single outing certainly not the type that would merit that type of cash just going by his history prior to Maidana .... no fking way.

I doubt Takashi Uchiyama, Mikey Garcia, Terrance Crawford, Ricky Burns, Miguel Vazquez or Raymundo Beltran who all hold/held titles at 130 or 135 would jump 140 to face Paulie or Chino

This thread it to discuss Broner turning down a 40 million contract when he's never made more than 1.2 million for a fight in his life. Not if he's an exciting fighter or not (I agree he is, but will never be a PPV star)

in 5 years Broner will be 30. Between now and then with his marketability and fighters like Peterson, Garcia, Matthyssee, Maidana, Khan, Porter, Brook etc. 140-147 is loaded and keeps bringing excitement he will potentially make more than 40 million. He already said he plans on fight 4 times this year.

2 tune ups, 2 big fights and if he keeps winning I see him making up for turning down that offer. People thought it was ****** for Mayweather to leave Top Rank and HBO as well.....he went from making 4-8 mill a fight to making minimum 32 by being patient and believing in his future worth

he was world class when they fought....obviously because he was world ranked and held the WBA title, he was world class at 140 as well.

The fact is roc nation would either break even or lose money with that 40 million offer if its real. The reason there throwing that kind of money just to break eve. Or even lose money is because its extremely hard to break into boxing. Look how hard of a time 50 cent is having trying to get his fighters fights. Nobody except top rank will work with him imagine that lol. Roc nation is trying to build a name in boxing so they will take losses in the beginning to become a name in the industry and then they can make real money. Its an investment just like any other that you have to spend alot to even have a chance to become profitable

I agree with u on the losing money part but I wouldn't compare 50 cent to jay z. Jay z is more of a business man where 50 likes to pretend he is. Also doesn't jay z own part of the jets and/or some basketball team? I'm sure he knows what he's doing
