Fair or not, if the fight never happens then Floyd will get the majority of the blame. Pacquiao is generally better liked than Floyd and beyond that is a fighter that has been the underdog and taking risky fights against bigger guys.
Floyd can't have it both ways. He likes to say he is the A side and he makes the offers and he decides who he fights. If he is his own boss then part of that is taking responsibility when a fight the fans want to see doesn't happen.

It's truly remarkable that some of Mayweather fans can sit here and pretend that him not fighting Pacquiao isn't such a big deal, as if it's some minor footnote. Ignoring the astronomical amount of money involved, the guy failed - doesn't matter who's fault you think it is - to fight the nearest rival in his weight class for over a five year period.

IMHO No, the fight doesn't cement his legacy, yet it elevates it a lot.

The comparison was not just between Maidana and Bradley.

The comparison was Maidana/Canelo and Bradley/Rios/Algieri.

But you knew that so why would you only compare Maidana and Bradley?

Just because Maidana beat Mayweather in the first fight doesn't mean he's more dangerous than Bradley...
Again why are you leaving Canelo out of the equation lol?!

              Quit dog you look ******.

The question was which opponents were more dangerous..Maidana/Canelo or Bradley/Rios/Algieri?

              But again you knew this...

              Don't be elementary homie.

The thought that Mayweather needs PAC for legacy-5/2 may have arum & team PAC feeling they're in the driver's seat to put any bogish deal in front of Floyd and he'd bite. Floyd's record + level of oppents cement his legacy.

Floyd never wanted this fight. He was happy the way the first negotiation ended, where he looked great because pac was the one who declined the drug test, but i doubt it was true even if pacquiao immediately agreed to the test. 2 years later, after pac's contract with arum was done, he sent koncz to mayweather's gym to negotiate for the fight, floyd immediately offered the 40m no ppv dealbreaker, pac then said, give the phone to koncz. until today many floyd fans are still riding on that and pretending like floyd called on his own, because he'd never do that. Floyd looked great again, saying pac was the one who decline.

Now this current negotiation, i dont know how floyd will make himself look good again on this one but im sure he'll find a way. "fighting cotto at 160, is the tougher and bigger fight" it could end in something like that

this is where Pacs people are dead wrong. Floyd couldn't care less about his ignorant fans. As far as he's concerned as long as he remains technically and I do mean TECHNICALLY undefeated, he can always talk big no matter how many women and dollars he loses.

The rest of what you said means **** to me because you started off like most Floyd groupies do....acting like your blind and don't know the truth.

They didn't let Margarito box with weapons this time. You guys talk about fighters heads not being in the game. Pregnancy's, Divorces, Court cases, you name it. Now imagine what was going through Margaritos head knowing what had just happened to him and his trainer. Now add that to not having the weapons = HELLO!!! IS ANYBODY HOME!!! GTFO with Margarito being some dangerous mofo. Mosleys supposed to be a monster because he beat Margs down. GTFO! You yourself said Mosley was calling out Mayweather anyway. Bye groupie!
