Yes, one shall stand and one shall fall.

It's all or nothing. That is the purest form of boxing. To be the best, to test who is the highlander.

Nope, his legacy is all about at this point cherry picking, and how his life was devoted to ducking Pacquiao.

If he doesn't fight Pac he will forever be linked to the word coward. That's his legacy. Sad but true homey.

This is a typical brain washed flowmo who doesn't see the importance of this fight for both men. Especially his coward fighter haha! Instead of embracing and wanting to fight his boyfriends rival he suggest that it doesn't happen. Wow where is your Pom poms? You sound like a fan girl who doesn't care about what the real essence of boxing.

I'll explain it to you in simple words. The beauty of boxing is that it is the purest form of fighting where in 2 men fight for prize, fame and glory. No other sport does it better. Yet you choose to let him fight the Amir khans of this world haha!

Like his master, he's throwing a monkey wrench to prevent the fight from happening. Scared for your boyfriends health aye..

Yes he is the best, the best coward chicken in this era haha!

Agreed, but like they said, it will be a black spot on his resume...a small black spot will remain a big - ??? - mark if they will not fight...and that black spot can't be erase till boxing sport is there.

                    Not really.

Mayweather is the one trying hard to coin that TBE meant what he hoped it would be and thus the pressure is ON HIM. Sugar Ray Robinson's LOSSES didn't do much to be dampen his purported "title" as "the best ever" by many boxing experts, historians and afficionado.

Rocky Marciano's 49-0 didn't put him in the GREATEST ECHELON either because it isn't "enough" though he is regarded as one of the greatest.

To be fair, Mayweather would be crowned as one of the best IN THIS ERA, and perhaps TOP 50. He would most likely be on the "Greatest skilled" boxer list but have never proven in the light [or lack thereof] of his resume'. There would be a "black eye" in his tainted record should he refuse to fight.

To be the best ever, your peers and most specially boxers within our time should be able to agree...but many are already harping against that banter from Tyson, Hagler, Ali, Sugar Ray, Holyfield, Jones Jr, Duran and many boxing experts and writers...

The most ironic thing is that Mayweather have already said that he doesn't care much for his legacy except for his obsession for MONEY.

Personally, I would put him as one of the greatest DEFENDER...specifically one of the greatest boxer in the art of DEFENSE. Perhaps equal to "Sweet Pea" Whitaker...

TBE? Hardly. This hyperbole does not compute.

                      Negative.

Oscar sealed Floyd's legacy believe it or not. That fight was huge at the time! I remember my mom even inquiring about the fight.

Mosely put a lil stamp on it too.

But to add Manny's name to an already brilliant hall of fame career just takes his legacy to another level and settles the debate when history looks back and compare legacies.

Sugar Ray and Hagler's legacies were already sealed when they finally met. They were both slightly out of their prime. Hagler had been in some wars and Leonard had one fckin eye lol But just like with May and Pac, back then Leonard/Hagler had to happen to determine legacy status.
