You sound like a fan girl who doesn't care about what the real essence of boxing.

I'll explain it to you in simple words. The beauty of boxing is that it is the purest form of fighting where in 2 men fight for prize, fame and glory. No other sport does it better. Yet you choose to let him fight the Amir khans of this world haha!

Like his master, he's throwing a monkey wrench to prevent the fight from happening. Scared for your boyfriends health aye..

Yes he is the best, the best coward chicken in this era haha!

Actually the better fighter of this era is still totally up for debate, so therefore yes he does need it. People can quote facts to point out why he could be considered the best of this era, but there are alot of other facts about pacquiao that people could say he was the best of the era.

Personally and many other people feel this way including Oscar de la Hoya, pacquiao has been in the tougher fights and has the better wins on his resume by beating Morales 2/3, Barrera 2/2 Tim Bradley. Those are 7 fights that pacquiao has fiughten and only legitimately lost 1 to Morales are better than any wins that mayweather has on his resume. Plus the 8 division champ, fighter if decade, 3x fighter of year and blah blah.

Manny has always moved or down in weight to face the best compeititon, can mayweather say the same? Or could we say mayweather has taken time off or retired or moved weight in order to avoid the best competition? And there are many numerous examples with cotto and margarito just to name 2.

Pacquiao has achieved all of these feats while usually fighting opponents much larger than himself. De la Hoya was the last guy who weighed more fight night than him. The rest all weighed at least 10 lbs more. Mayweather often is the same weight or more.

Bottom line is half of the boxing fans of the world still view pacquiao as the best of this generation, and he did it by fighting in a fan friendly manner instead of the boring running and pot shotting all night. If mayweather would like to prove the enormous amount of critics wrong then the ball is in his court and he has the power to make it happen just like he always has. Health comes first doe to the rich coward.....

          Absolutely.

          There can be only one.

Legacy status is at stake here. And not only against each other but also against boxing greats throughout time.

Oscar sealed Floyd's legacy believe it or not. That fight was huge at the time! I remember my mom even inquiring about the fight.

Mosely put a lil stamp on it too.

But to add Manny's name to an already brilliant hall of fame career just takes his legacy to another level and settles the debate when history looks back and compare legacies.

Sugar Ray and Hagler's legacies were already sealed when they finally met. They were both slightly out of their prime. Hagler had been in some wars and Leonard had one fckin eye lol But just like with May and Pac, back then Leonard/Hagler had to happen to determine legacy status.
Oscar did not seal mayweathers legacy lol at that point he was already beaten a handful of times. Was it a good win on his resume? Yes but nothing compared to Manny being the first to ever knock down and knock out Morales and Herrera, being the first to knock down Juan Marquez. Common opponents are probably the best way to judge who was better and Manny beat them all in much more dominating fashion except for Marquez who was dragged up 2 divisions to face an overweight mayweather. Plus Barrera, Morales, Bradley and pacquios 7 fights against those 3 are more impressive legacy wise than mayweather had ever done.

Oscar made Floyd a household name and took him to another level. It didn't matter Oscar was past his prime.

Oscar shined so bright he did the same for Pacquiao a few years later!

Says you and the rest of the Floydie coalition. The guy is Duck Central, meticulously choosing the absolute least challenge possible in the past several years. Either they're past their prime, too small, too slow, low KO rate, blah blah blah. The guy's a poster child for paranoia.

Maidana and Canelo are more dangerous than Bradley, Rios, Algieri.
