Not being rude or offensive or anything so please don't take it that way, but I don't think your response (that the world wants to see it) addressed that.

    I'm truly curious.

I do want to want to see it but for me it's not the competitive aspect that intrigues me at this stage. It's more so like this hot chick you've been chasing for years who almost gave it to you but never quite.

Now she's no longer as sexy as she used to be, a couple of your boys got to hit it, she has a kid and some stretch marks. It's not as hard to get anymore etc...

But you still got the pot commitment, you put so much energy into so you just want that skeet to get it out the way.

That's how I feel about the fight. The initial appeal of the match-up doesn't exist to me anymore.

But like I said, that's just my opinion and my opinion isn't really that relevant in the grand scheme of things and especially not as it pertains to my question to the gentleman above (and you).
So is the sexy girl turned stretch marks girl Floyd in your metaphor?

Anyway, boxing needs a jolt. This super fight will bring back boxing to new heights. It is the best sport where in its just him and the other guy to test who is better. No other sport can compare. It's an individual sport where in your mental psyche and physical prowess are tested.

Wether you believe me or not, they are the 2 best in this era, and they are in the same division. It is a no brainer a real boxing fan would like to see it go down. I myself am hungry for it.

As an espn commentator commented on it. Yes they are not in there prime anymore, but boxing fans are hungry for a super fight. They are starving, And this is a super-fight for this generation, but we are all held hostage because a diva boxer who is scared to lose his 0.

Analysts says it can still reach 2m-3m ppv buys. They are still relevant and the 2 top dog in boxing. As analyst have put. Its should be now. It's time. Money is still there, yet the boxing named money, doesn't want to receive his biggest paycheck. Ironic isn't it. Or is it cowardice? You tell me.

Why is this **** always a zero sum game? Yes, it would be rad if they fought each other. But both legacies are in tact without the fight.
In the era that they shared, Pac was the greatest fighter and Mayweather was the greatest boxer.

That's funny...Because on Face Off with Max Kellerman, Mayweather directly told Mosley not to label himself as "old". In other words, giving himself and excuse. I can show you that video, can you show me where Mayweather made that statement?

Its so funny that Floyd fans keep on saying that Arum loves in house fights but when Floyd's name comes up, they forget about all that. Just too funny.

You say that Floyd vs Cotto never came up after Brusselles. Well it did. Back then Cotto was still on the greenish side and needed to fight often. Arum said just before the Gatti fight that the fight will happen in the future but Cotto needed another 1 to 1.5 years of seasoning. Arum said at that point, if there is anyone that can beat Floyd, its Cotto BUT not that version of him. He required more fights.

Arum had Cotto thrown in against Mosley, Margarito, Manny, Clottey and so on yet Arum was scared of the monster called Floyd? Give us all a break!

LMAO!!! Yes, I love it! Like I said, Bruseles was a mere observation of what a possible Mayweather/Cotto fight would look like. Mayweather fought Bruseles in 05 and fought Judah in 06. By that time Cotto had 5 more fights before he fought Judah. So if Cotto needed "more" fights, wouldn't they have fought after the 5th fight before he fought Judah? LMAO! Cotto was thrown in against Shane, Maracheato, Manny and Joshua because Arum didn't want to negotiate with Floyd because they were on bad terms. They thought Shane was over the hill, they figured he'd beat Margarito, Manny didn't decide to fight him until after Cotto fought Clottey and he fought Clottey simply because Arum didn't have anyone else for him to fight. LMAO!
