You conveniently forget how old Mosley was when Floyd took that fight. Or the fact that he had 18 months without a fight. Or the fact that he had 2 back to back training camps thanks to Berto pulling out at the last minuet. Lets face it, Mosley was done at that point, it was good for Floyd to take that fight but the writing was on the wall, low hanging fruit.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Floyd's legacy has to many question marks and can be disputed for his cherry picking ways. It's his fault for being a ducker. He chose the road less traveled.
He will go down as a diva boxer that could have would have but couldn't.Comment

Floyd already was voted the 12th best fighter since WWII by ring magazine, well ahead of Manny who was tied for 26th. That would suggest Manny needs the fight more for "legacy".
The fact is both are 1st ballot HOF'ers whose legacies are set. Should they fight, the winner will be seen as the better fighter. If they don't, it will be same is it always is-Floyd will be considered the better fighter and Manny fans and Floyd's detractors will whine about it.Comment

That's why he was in the Ring magazine top 20 fighters since WW2 a few months ago and Pacquiao wasn't.

Yes and fights against Vargas and like aren't going to improve Pacquiao's standing.Floyd already was voted the 12th best fighter since WWII by ring magazine, well ahead of Manny who was tied for 26th. That would suggest Manny needs the fight more for "legacy".

It's not etched in stone. It's the boxing fans that will anoint a fighters real ranking.Floyd already was voted the 12th best fighter since WWII by ring magazine, well ahead of Manny who was tied for 26th. That would suggest Manny needs the fight more for "legacy".

And most people rank Floyd at present as a top 50 boxer. After he ducks Pacquiao he'll be a top 100.
Ring magazine is an opinion by some not most. Big difference. Boxing fans tell the story and he is top 50at this point in time, could go worse if he ducks the biggest fight in history.
Sorry to burst your bubble again lolComment

No at this point Pac has reached the end. There is only one fight left for him to take that will improve his legacy, and that is Floyd. If Floyd doesn't show up he should just retire. He has done above and beyond the call of duty. If he fights its just for money. It won't improve his legacy. No one left to fight except that coward boxer named Floyd.
While in Floyd's case, his ducking ways have put too many question marks so he needs this fight more than Pac. And still needs more fights to remove the taint of cowardice and cherry picking in his image. Sorry to burst your bubble.
Your too delusional to see it. Someone needs to speak sense to your kissass Floyd jizz loving ways lolLast edited by Spoon23; 01-05-2015, 02:57 PM.Comment

The flip side of this is that Floyd or/and Manny were just building this the whole time for the best and last fight/S in their respective careers, thereby increasing the value, anyone who understands corporate business knows it is a must that this was done, lolllllllllllllllll.Bottom line is that they need to fight each other while they are still number one and two pound for pound to determine who is truly the best of this era. Floyd cannot claim he is the best of all time let alone the best of this era until he faces the other perceived best in this era. They fight in the same weight class so thre is no excuse. I hope everyone at the wbc conference shamed him which I'm sure they did because mike Tyson, sugar ray Leonard, muhammed alot and other greats have all been calling for Floyd to fight Manny and stop ducking. Mike Tyson is one of the most vocal about saying Floyd is scared.Comment

So what does it mean for Manny, since you know, he fought Mosley AFTER Mayweather? Lower hanging fruit?????You conveniently forget how old Mosley was when Floyd took that fight.
