Has it occurred to you that maybe the reason Ward's team are doing nothing to try and make the fight happen now is that without PPV the risk/reward equation doesn't add up for them either?

Andre has had a bad shoulder injury, a long lay-off and hasn't beaten a worthy opponent since Froch back in 2011. He would be favourite if it happened, but GGG definitely would be in with a real chance of beating him. And if GGG did beat Ward it could well be by KO.

Being KO'd by an under-dog moving up from a lower division would damage Ward's career and legacy far more than being outpointed by the bigger, P4P No2 Andre Ward would damage GGG's. And losing on points is the only thing GGG would have to worry about with Andre.
