Oh please your comments are worthless. You stated yourself that its ok to take money fights blah blah blah. No wonder your promotions is staying stuck in florida. I asked my cuzin who lives down there if he ever heard of ya..... nope

lol I retired from promoting over 3 years ago. But be that as it may, it hurts me to no end that your "cuzin" never heard of me. Im sure my legacy will suffer greatly because of it.

Let's be real. Carl Froch doesn't really want to fight Andre Ward either and for somewhat similar reasons as GGG doesn't want to fight him. It's a very tricky fight and the money is **** compared to what Froch can get elsewhere. I'm saying this as a huge Froch fan.

GGG fans are so sensitive and female. Why does it hurt your vaginas so much to admit that he and his team aren't too keen on Ward right now? It's patently obvious that they aren't willing to take a gamble on that fight.

Again for the third time. Hes willing to move up in weight and fight chavez jr for no belt, but wont fight ward for the lineal 168 lbs title.

and you are defending that? It makes no financial sense right?

With hundreds of amateur fights and at 32yrs old, taking a loss never makes financial sense.

people took me seriously enough for me to have promoted or co-promoted shows on ESPN2, Showtime, HBO, and HBO PPV. How many shows are on YOUR resume?

The risk/reward can easily be assessed because Golovkin's people require a PPV model in order to satisfy their reward requirements for risking a fight with Ward.

The PPV model is not available for the fight so they don't feel it's worth the risk. Tom Loeffler has said this. I mean how many times do we have to go over this? You're supposed to be a promoter.

Recently Sergey Kovalev took quite short money to fight Bernard Hopkins in what could have been a bad style fight for him and it wasn't on PPV. It was a calculated risk and it paid off for him.

So it's not impossible for Golovkin to fight Ward without PPV....they just aren't willing to take that risk. Once again, I'm fine with that. Just stop saying everyone is ducking this guy and he can't get big fights.

RING and WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward has not dismissed the potential for bouts against either WBA middleweight titleholder Gennady Golovkin, RING and WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson, or Stevenson's 175-pound titleholder counterparts Bernard Hopkins and Sergey Kovalev.

But during a recent interview with ******.com, the 29-year-old 2004 Olympic gold medalist said there is uneven emphasis being placed upon him to make those fights come to fruition, particularly in regard to Golovkin (28-0, 25 knockouts), who will pursue his 16th consecutive stoppage victory when he meets Osumanu Adama on Feb. 1.

"There has been the [media] press about me, and this pressure for me to go up to 175 all of a sudden when I'm not a full-fledged 175-pounder," said Ward, who is THE RING's No. 2-rated fighter, pound-for-pound, behind RING 147- and 154-pound champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. "But there's no pressure on Golovkin, like, it's okay for him to say, 'Wait, not right now.' But it's not okay for me to say it. So those are the things that I sometimes scratch my head about."

Although Ward is involved in a lawsuit seeking separation from career-long promoter Dan Goossen, with whom he has had an ongoing contractual rift, he still expects to return to the ring in "March or April."

Having said that Golovkin and Kovalev are being touted as "the Boogey Men in their divisions," Ward invites an eventual match with Golovkin, a 2004 Olympic silver medalist from Kazakhstan.

"Hey, when that fight happens, it's going to be a great fight for boxing. So: a year ago, Ward wanted to fight Groves next. He couldn't fight him, therefore he fought nobody since then.
