They had been preparing Guerrero to fight Floyd for a while. Even before Guerrero even had a fight at WW. So Guerrero fought for a vacant interim title against a guy that went back down to 140. Guerrero didn't look good in that fight but won. Then faced the guy that used to be the fighter to beat to get to Floyd ...... Berto! Yes, we all knew by then that Berto had no defense and all it took is someone who can exploit that and they would be off to the races.

So just like many of Floyd's fight, it didn't take much to fool Floyd's fan base. If they paid attention, a year before, Floyd said "I honestly don't know who Guerrero is".

Consistency is something that has failed with most of Floyd's opponents. Hype over consistency.

I don't give a damn about who fought who at what weight. I care more about the level of opposition.

Fact is Manny LOST to Tim Bradley and JMM.

Fact is Floyd dominated JMM and Tim Bradley is honestly on the same level as Robert Guerrero. Matter of fact, I think if we did a poll on NSB, GUerrero vs Bradley would be seen as a pickem fight.

Mayweather beating a young and prime Canelo is more impressive than any single victory Manny has.

I'm sorry but MAB was past his prime and Morales was coming off a LOSS when Manny fought them.

Hatton and De La Hoya had already been beaten and forgotten about by Floyd by the time Manny fought them. Same can be said for Mosley.

Even Maidana is better than anything Pac has fought since Cotto.

Multiple opponents have figured out and defeated Pac.

Floyd has been undefeated since 1996. We're in 2015. And NOBODY has figured his style out yet. And it's not like he's fighting foreign no named boxers. He's fighting the best the sport has to offer and he still can't be reckoned with.

That's as impressive a feat as any boxer has accomplished in the history of this sport.
