How many top ten welterweights has pacquaio defeated after 2009 and how many has Mayweather faced....TOP TEN AT THE TIME THAT THEY FOUGHT THEM?

Manny.....Bradley and Mosley in the last 5 years....2 wins over ranked welterweights in the past 4 years

Mayweather.....Mosley, Guerrero, Ortiz, Maidana 2x( 5 wins over top ten comp)
Doe, stop this nonsense. Even Mayweather will laugh at you, "They're not meant to be legacy fights bro. They're meant to make me loads of cash." He retired and ducked prime fighters, doe. You're taking it very serious.

Ortiz, Maidana, bloated Marquez, Guerrero, etc. GTFOH.

I think what bothers a lot of boxing fans is that Floyd is the A side. An ink pen could be the A side. Anybody but Floyd. And because Floyd is on top right (and Ring Magazine put Floyd as the #1 fighter out of 100 fighters) all the pressure and the "he should do this and that" moniker will be on him. If Pac was the A side, Arum, Pac and Roach, would go on a world tour to let the whole know who the b side was. Nothing would bring Arum more joy than to know he has Floyd by the ca-jonees. But it's not the case. One fight does not ruin a legacy. If it did, then a boxing greats are in trouble. Leonard didn't fight Pryor...Bowe didn't fight Lennox Lewis....Ray Robinson avoided Charles Burley...I could on. So Roach needs to stuff a sock in it.

        Both are hall of famers

you calling someone "son" or "kid" means nothing when you really don't illustrate much knowledge of boxing

Aaron Pryor and Mike McCallum would make everyones top 10 fighters of the 80's list

Im sure you never boxed a day in your life and you calling pros chickens and cowards is comical

        A) YOU NEVER SUPPORT YOUR STATEMENTS OR ASSERTIONS WITH FACTS, STATISTICS OR SIMPLE LOGIC

        B) POSTERS LIKE YOU RESORT TO INSULTS WHEN YOUR ARGUEMENT IN BASE LESS AND WEAK

        C) THERE HAVE BEEN BIGGER FIGHTS THAN MAYWEATHER V. PACQUIAO THAT HAVE NOT BEEN MADE AND IT DIDNT TARNISH EITHER FIGHTERS LEGACT

10 FIGHTS THAT ARE AS BIG OR BIGGER THAN MAYWEATHER V. PAC IN THAT ERA THAT DIDNT GET MADE

        1) Mike Tyson vs. Rid**** Bowe

        2)Leonard vs McCallum, Pryor

        3) Ray Robinson vs Charley Burley and both these guys are probably ranked higher than both all time and Burley never got a chance to fight for a title was ww/mw contender for 10 years

        4) Harry Wills v. Dempsey(color line)

        5) Jack Johnson v. Sam Langforde for the heavyweight title....Johnson declined facing langforde again

        6) Alexis Arguello v. Roberto Duran, Salvador Sanchez

        7) Duran vs Pryor

        8) Jones vs Darius Michaelcewski

        9) Holmes vs Foreman

        10) burley vs any of the ww and mw champs of the 40's

the list goes on bro...but you act like you know so much

First, Floyd could have fought Mosley and Cotto at least five years before.

Not sure about Wright who I think moved up to 160 around 2006 but for sure Forrest and Mosley were still competitive as SWW when Floyd was competing as a WW.
Trust me I know modern boxing. Mosley was asked in 2006 if he wanted to fight Floyd and he gave a BS answer saying his tooth was loose and that he wanted to take a Vacation with his family. Only after Floyd beat Oscar and made box office records in that fight was Mosley willing to fight Floyd. It takes two sides to make a fight happen. You can't ignore Mosley's side stepping of a Floyd fight.

As for Cotto, I'm pretty sure that was a business problem due to Mayweather leaving Bob Arum and swearing to never work with him again after Arum supposedly ripped him off. Once Cotto left arum that fight got signed immediately.

Roach is ignoring the fact that Arum/Pacquiao walked away from the fight over random blood testing once...

Then Arum has put up roadblocks and after the Marquez KO even stated that he was more interested in negotiating the Pac-Marquez fight..

Arum just turned down a good offer from Showtime

Arum continues to put up a roadblock about the May 2nd date...

Pacquiao and Mayweather want the fight... Arum doesn't want the fight to happen because he's a control-freak

hey that's your opinion....I gave you facts....no opinion necessary or needed

im sure the truth hurts but Manny only beat 2 top ten fighters in the past 5 years....Mayeather beat 3 times the amount I didn't even include Cotto and Canelo at 154 for Floyd

I could imagine your posts if Mayweather was fighting Chris Algieri, Brandon Rios, or Jessie Vargas

you are a fan boy that cant accept facts....we all have opinions but you cant argue facts no matter how much you troll or ignore facts

These two fighters are almost 40 they are past prime.
I beg to differ, is Manny at his all time peak? No but he's close to it. Mayweather and pacquiao are still in a league of their own in boxing today even thogu they have slowed down a hair, Floyd is still ranked number 1 p4p Manny is 2 or 3 depending. Would still be the best fight on each of their records. And just because Manny fought 2 b level fighters Rios and algieri doesn't mean his legacy is ruined. He could have retired off Marquez and he would have still been an all time great because most fighters retire around his age. Bradley is another marquee win for pacquios resume and there are others too. Crawford would be big and so would Mikey Garcia, obviously they need to make the mayweather fight though no ifs ands or buts

Kudos bro... he was asked about floyd after his ko over vargas....

And both floyd and cotto had fights signed in 2007...cotto beat mosely, and was being pushed towards a fight with margarito which was why he took the tuneup against gomez...floyd beat hatton and was negotiating a rematch with oscar for sept 08... floyd retired while cotto proceeded to the already planned marg fight and lost...

There were never any real negotiations for floyd/cotto in 08... i dont understand. Why people believe there was..

We are basically being sold the notion that Mayweather needs this fight for his legacy and Pacquiao doesn't need the fight at all because the media favors him and trashes Mayweather and no matter how much Bob Arum and Pacquiao duck and prevent the fight from happening it's Mayweather's fault. If this is the case what is Pacquiao's motivation for taking the fight? I mean if they believe this is the way the story will be written it seems like it's in Arum and Pacquiao's best interest for the fight to never happen. Because Pacquiao will be seen as a greater fighter of the two specifically because they never fought.
You act Manny is making dumb demands like, oh i don't know a flat fee with no PPV revenue. They(mainly Arum) basically want the fight on another date for business reasons and I can see why. Them not fighting hurts both legacies but Floyd even more so because Manny has accomplished more in the sport than Floyd. You can think whatever you want but only one fighter has contradicted himself so many times I lost count regarding the fight and it isn't manny.

they weren't even following the sport then....Mayweather been calling Mosley and DLH out since the early 2000's

Mosley was ibf lightweight, mayweather was wbc jr lightweight champ
