Just look at his resume he has beaten many fighters better than them. Maidana beat broker and now he's a top guy? Lol I hope al haymon lets maidana out of the cage to fight Manny, he'd have to get another good win in sure he wouldn't fight him coming off 2 losses. Pacquiao would be heavily favored against either of them. Maidana isn't a p4p fighter and is barely top 10 welterweight, canelo is bottom of most peoples top ten p4p list. Manny beat Bradley easily who was number 3 p4p and Bradley has the style that troubles Manny. Manny schooled him 2 times. I could see how someone may think canelo has a shot against Manny because of the size difference. Canelo weighs 170ish fight night while pacquiao is around 145. That's a 25 lb difference although that's nothing new for Pac he would still crush him, but if you honestly think maidana has any shot in the world you are smoking something
Maidana is top 10 because of Robert Garcia. Trust me if he was such a slouch Khan would have gotten in there with again. He wont even mention his name to this day.

Back then everyone blamed Floyd and I think everyone still should. Lets not forget also that he changed his mind pretty quick and has since been chasing mayweather and agreed to the testing for 5 years now. Floyd has made one bogus offer which Manny obviously declined, and mayweather told bob costas that Manny countered with 50/50 and then sent his advisor mike kontz to Vegas but mayweather wasn't willing to give him any ppv split!!! Lol this was mayweathers own words. So who has been ducking who? There is a reason the media have portrayed Floyd as a ducker, because its true! Its only the handful of his troll fans who believe the bs

Not quick enough! And a 21 day cutoff date is not even practical! Just admit pac was to blame for the first failed negotiations and we can continue to debate, otherwise i will not debate you, cause i sense biasness.

When the first negotiations took place, Pac was #1 p4p and Mayweather wasn't, but pretended like he was. It's the same game Mayweather is playing now.

I HEAR you on that.. floyd had just unretired and fought marquez, ok...BUT, if he was the so called no.1 as you claim, shouldnt pac have just accepted the blood and urine testing and be one of the advocates for cleaning up the sport alongside floyd, and to show he was a clean fighter??? Instead, came the needle excuses..cmon man

Hard to say. Pac was #1 at the time. He probably felt like he didn't need to as he was the "A Side." Truth is, we can speculate about the past five years of negotiations, but none of us actually know what was/is going through everyone's heads. We only know what they want us to know and that's them just pointing fingers at each other's sides. Saying Pac was/is on steroids is pretty dumb. Honestly, saying Mayweather is ducking Pac is pretty dumb, too. the fact is, we have no idea what's actually going on in that room. Too much ego involved on both sides I think.

It should be noted: I'm not claiming. Pac WAS the #1 p4p fighter at the time on everyone's list including Ring Magazine.
