If this is the case what is Pacquiao's motivation for taking the fight? I mean if they believe this is the way the story will be written it seems like it's in Arum and Pacquiao's best interest for the fight to never happen. Because Pacquiao will be seen as a greater fighter of the two specifically because they never fought.
we have a winner..same strategy they used with the countdown clock..pac refuses random drug testing and the emdia is silent..floyd asks for random drug testing and the media goes ointo a frenzy..like they weren't expecting floyd to be smart enough to ask for random drug testing....once he did they still blame him for not making the fight..

if i was floyd i wouldn't fight the midget because he's already been beat 5 times before and koed three times as well..fight swift or rematch cotto..much better legacy fights.

Sounds like someone doesn't really want the fight.

I for one want to see the fight....but I understand that the business side gets in the way

whether we like it or not as fans there is a business side behind close doors that we know nothing about and all we can do is speculate or assume.

Most people look silly assuming is you ASSUME...you make an ASS OUT OF YOU and ME

if the fight doesn't happen it wont be the first big fight as a fan I didn't get to see.....it would suck but Id move on

Them not fighting hurts both legacies but Floyd even more so because Manny has accomplished more in the sport than Floyd. You can think whatever you want but only one fighter has contradicted himself so many times I lost count regarding the fight and it isn't manny.
Come on bruh I'm from frisco. I'm a die hard Manny fan but let's stop the bs. The champion in 8 weight classes is kinda faulty. You can say any box has accomplish more than a guy who has been a champion 15 straight years undefeated for 17 plus, while only fighting champions or number on contenders for 12 of those years. All while breaking big pay per view record after pay per view record. I'm a fan not a Stan. I love Kobe I hated when lebron was sneaking up and passing Kobe. I held on to Kobe being number one maybe a year to late, but I couldn't honestly say Kobe is better than lebron right now. Just like even though I'm a manny fan he's nowwhwee near as accomplished in the sport of boxing as Mayweather it's easy to admit bc 99% of all the ppl who ever laced them up isn't.

                  LLLLOOOOLLLLL

Take his kok out your mouth and clean up the drool.

Cotto a middleweight. PMSL. Cotto is about as much a middleweight as Mayweather. They're practically the same size FFS.

Maybe Canelo will fill out at middleweight but he'd been fighting happily at light middle and was hardly a destroyer. It's not like that fight had 'danger' written all over it. Some thought Canelo might be big enough to win (myself included) but he isn't some kind of lethal slugger that might have been a threat to Mayweather. That fight was never ending before the final bell.

And ppv has nothing to do with legacy.

As I said earlier the difference is Manny has always moved up weight classes once he beat the best competition in each one, that is impressive, he even moved back down to fight Ricky Hatton at his best weight and KO'd him and moved back up and fought guys that Floyd was considered to be ducking... Margarito and cotto. Now Manny has been fighting the top guys all while weighing 10-20 lbs lighter than each and every one of them fight night. Plus his battles with Morales and Herrera, I really don't think its much of a debate Manny is more impressive. Ppv numbers dont matter much considering Floyd always fights on Mexican holidays which do better, when Manny fought mosely on Mexican holiday it did the exact same ppv buys as when Floyd fought mosely
