As I said earlier the difference is Manny has always moved up weight classes once he beat the best competition in each one, that is impressive, he even moved back down to fight Ricky Hatton at his best weight and KO'd him and moved back up and fought guys that Floyd was considered to be ducking... Margarito and cotto. Now Manny has been fighting the top guys all while weighing 10-20 lbs lighter than each and every one of them fight night. Plus his battles with Morales and Herrera, I really don't think its much of a debate Manny is more impressive. Ppv numbers dont matter much considering Floyd always fights on Mexican holidays which do better, when Manny fought mosely on Mexican holiday it did the exact same ppv buys as when Floyd fought mosely

So just like Mayweather he would rather canelo be the bigger man but be at a disadvantage bc he had to cut weight. So even when you giving up 10-20 pounds you are still at an advantage bc you are comfy and at peak physical fitness and your opponent os not. Plus you can't say he fought the best challenge and move up or down bc he never fought Floyd Garcia Lucas broner maidana khan or any of those guys and they have been campaigning where he has been campaigning for at least two years. Amongst the Undefeateds, Marciano and Calzaghe have better legacies than Floyd jr. Even Calzaghe crossed the ocean and won over Hopkins. Floyd jr picked and dodged his way to an undefeated record. What makes it worse is how he will be remembered to have done eveything to avoid fighting Pacquiao . Bert Sugar has an unfavourable opinion of Floyd jr while showering Pacquiao with praises. Men like Sugar look at fighters from an historical perspective that will give you a true gauge how Pac and May will be seen 20 years from now. Even if Pac never gets the chance to fight Floyd his legacy as an ATG is in the bag.

On your first point fighters always cut weight to gain an advantage on fight night, the more they cut the smaller the guy they can face, Terance Crawford cuts around 20 lbs so he can be a huge lightweight, so does almost every boxer. He does catchweights every so often to make it just a little more fair and so the opponents can't gain 10 lbs of muscle on him.. Take algieribfor instance he fights at 140 but Manny fought him at 144 people were complaining but fact is he let him gain 4 lbs of pure muscle foe that fight, so he put himself at somewhat of a disadvantage and algiero was still ten lbs lmgeavier than him. He fought cotto at 145 and people were complaining. Well he had a 147 lb title and Manny again was so much smaller, he gave himself a 2 lb advantage, but he was still at a 10 lb disadvantage on fight night instead of 12. Its still amazing what he does even catchweights make it a little more fair, but its still unfair for Manny either way. And to your second point...
