Let's f*** the foolishness. If you don't think Saul "Canelo" Alvarez is a better win than Timothy Bradley, something is wrong.

No need to limit it to "Prime WW elite" as Bradley's first fight at welterweight was against Pacquiao, his second was against Provo (really a light welterweight), his third was against JMM (really a light welterweight) and then Pacquiao beat him. His "elite" days aren't at welterweight.

Bradley came to welterweight to fight Pacquiao, brought Provo to welterweight to fight, fought JMM who only came to welterweight to fight Pacquiao and then fought Pacquiao again.

Why do people act like Maidana had nothing to do with how Floyd looked. The guy is a tank, chin of iron, applies suffocating pressure and is greatly improved with Garcia as far as cutting off the ring, jabs and head movement. Yes Floyd didnt dominate but not because hes diminishing but because his opponent was a beast. I mean who would have an easy time with this present version of Maidana. He would take anyone at 147 to deep waters.

Its all about styles in boxing. Floyd is already not a power puncher, and Maidana is a bulldozer, and when you put the two together, you have Floyd landing but not hurting (Fight 1), and using lateral movement to not get run over (Fight 2).

Dont see how hes diminishing honestly. After fight 1 they said his legs were gone, then he proved people wrong a few months later. Its simply just a matter of people refusing to give Maidana any props.

Exactly, dude has an underrated gas tank and power to boot.

Much better than these bums Pac been facing. While Floyd is facing skilled prime threats like Khan Pac is facing the Jessie Vargas's of the world.

This. I agree with you to an extent, although i believe Floyd slipped a notch, Maidana had alot to do with how Floyd looked-maidana pressed forward constantly in both fights. Floyd looked superb against Canelo because he tried to box using range, Maidana didnt make that mistake.

Looking at both maidana fights, Floyds reflexes were present in the 1st fight and looking at the 2nd, Floyd "diminished" alot just between the 2. Ive noticed alot of ppl saying floyd wasnt able to pull the trigger in the 1st fight, to me that wasnt necessarily the case, Maidana had a nice @$$ jab and thats what kept floyd thinkn twice.i thot maidana would have used his jab more in the 2nd because of its success in the 1st.

My honest opinion, Floyd slipped a little just between maidana 1 & 2, his reflexes are what got myself thinkin. Maybe he changed a few training habits but its clear something is different about floyd

I honestly think Floyd has aged this last year, he had slowed down a bit over the years but adjusted his style slightly to suit, but in both Maidana fights he just didn't just seem the same mentally and physically - I think he clearly won both fights but he still didn't look the same. Maybe getting a proper strength and conditioning coach in could benefit him greatly now.

Wouldnt really disagree with that, but wouldnt count out that May would look 10 times better against Pac and/or Khan than against Maidana, we saw this the last 5 years happening, he looked great against Marquez & Mosley but not so awesome againt Ortiz & Cotto and when people thougt Floyd could maybe be over the hill after Cotto and again one year retirement he looked very good against Guerrero & Canelo and yeah after that again not so great against Maidana, so statistically he should look good in his next 2 fight
But one thing that will always help Floyd out no matter how diminished his skill is, is his ring smarts. Really curious to see how Floyd will do the next year(s).
