Comments Thread For: Bradley's Trainer: Mayweather's Ability Diminished A lot

Joel Diaz, trainer of former two-division world champion Timothy Bradley, says Floyd Mayweather Jr. (47-0, 26KOs) has significantly aged in the ring.

Diaz carefully reviewed Mayweather's two-fight series with Maidana, where the pound-for-pound king pulled out twelve round decision victories. He felt Mayweather was not the same fighter who even last year dominated Robert Guerrero and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez in distance fights.

This is why pac is much more fun to watch than Mayweather. Win or loose he will fight to make people happy.

The one thing that really stands out to me is Floyd doesnt throw punches the way he used to. When Floyd got attacked he would defend then fire back. Many times when he fought Maidana, Maidana would throw 7 punches and Floyd would not return fire. Several years he would have returned fire.

Floyd was always caution on offense and would throw at least one punch but more now nothing is coming back.

If mayweather can beat pacquiao which I highly doubt, that would by far be the biggest win on his resume. On the other hand if pacquiao beats duckweather which he most likely will, it will be the best win but he's got a couple close seconds and thirds I.e. Prime berrera and Morales. So what I'm trying to say is a win will do more for mayweathers legacy than it would do for pacquios. Oscar de la Hoya even said manmy will always get more respect because of all the wars hes been in.

Team Roach ducked prime Floyd with the drug tests and now they're talking now that Floyd has slowed a bit.... That boy needs to avenge his defeat to Marquez. Rios and Algieri are not good enough that boy still got Marquez problems.
