Show me a contract where Manny has an exclusive deal to only fight on HBO... I've yet to see this. But we do have proof and it's been known for years that Floyd actually has a deal with Showtime. Bob Arum needs to die already and Oscar needs to OD on some coke with a ***** from another stripper in his ass. Then at that point the damn Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight can actually get made.

He's going around telling people he's making $140m to fight Pacquiao, then it wouldn't make sense that he's would throw it all away over a date.
Mayweather's fine in his finances and he actually has opponents that can still draw. It's Manny Pacquiao and Top Rank that have no opponents or good fights and Manny is in money trouble. If Top Rank doesn't want to fight on May 2nd then go fight Jesse Vargas and the rest of the worthless opponents coming to or up from 140lbs. You guys are hilarious. The A side dictates the terms and has throughout history. The B side doesn't dictate venue, purse split, date, etc... Manny has already said he will accept all the terms to fight... It's Bob Arum who is throwing up the May 2nd roadblock. By the way May 2nd is not a holiday May 5th is so there's no excuse.

Because events on these days do huge number .. Even if Pac and Floyd is huge, this date will make the event that much more .. we are talking off the scale numbers.

Negotiations IS a process of going back and forth and only the naysayers would absolutely look at this as something that wouldn't happen.

Why don't we just sit back and see first? Sure we're all antsy and it's been 5 years already that this fight should happen but there are lots of PROS and CONS and issues from both sides for this mega-fight to materialize.
well dont u think that was kind of ****** considering floyd always fights on that date?

          • When was the last time Arum promoted the b-side? His ego and moneygreed is just too big to take less than the other promoter/fighter and at most when the fighter was once his and he doesnt like him. Sadly there is no lawregulated pensionobligatory...this dude is 80+ goddammit...can he just lay back and relax the last years of his life? Wouldnt suprise me if the boxingworld has to tolerate his snaky antics and businesses for the next 20 years. He is gonna be in the recordbooks for being the only man at 100+ still operating a milliondollarcompany...

Quit trying to be slick bro lol. Floyd DONT have to fight on that date but he has fought on these same dates for the past SEVERAL fights and he will NEVER move his fight date. He's too set in these dates.

The point is, if EVERYONE KNOWS that Floyd will NEVER fight on any date other than the dates he's used to, then why is everyone trying to have a pissing contest and make him move? They already know he's NOT changing that date.

Ur acting like a bich again lol

And btw, I STILL dont think Floyd will fight Pacman even if they agreed on the date, but if it all falls through BECAUSE of the date thats hoe shiat on Arum's part.

              • What is sad is the fact he says "Pac wants it , lets see if we can make it happen ", he gives 2 ****s about Pac legacy/fans/money , he cares about his big ass EGO he wants to show everyone he is incharge and he and he alone will make or break the fight , he is 80 he has nothing to do with more money , just want to feel like a bigshot **** HIM

Would you put out two of the same product on the same day? I doubt but then again that's why 90% of businesses fail. The irony is mofo's will avoid Floyd's plethora of double talk but will dissect the shhh out of anything Arum says.
Better put those 2 products on the same card.

                  • For several days, I was wondering; what is it there to talk about regarding what arum had voiced out with regards on his take on Cinco De Mayo fight date; because some guys literally went hysterical hypothesizing that arum is stopping the first super fight of our generation. This is incredibly ludicrous and only a complete ****** would think that way. LISTEN Knuckleheads!..

"The Cinco De Mayo quote by arum is just his personal opinion nothing more."

No one is ordering anyone around. You can have your own opinion about gay marriage, how and when to celebrate Christmas, whether to use condom or not. It doesn't matter, it's just your personal opinion. For the bum heads I will repeat, No one is ordering anyone, it's just a personal opinion period. jeez!

That's the problem. Why does he have to " let" Pac do anything. Pac needs to grow balls, Arum works for him not the other way around. Arum should have Pac's best interest at heart and not the other way around. Pac needs to speak up or he's just as much the blame. He a grown a$$ man not a child.
