what's unnerving is people here usually jump towards foregone conclusion that the MAY-PAC fight won't happen...one has to understand that there are challenges in both sides regarding the date and the ramifications of the date...loss of profit if not done right with the Canelo-Cotto that was previously set (not on stone) on the purported May 2 date.

Negotiations IS a process of going back and forth and only the naysayers would absolutely look at this as something that wouldn't happen.

Why don't we just sit back and see first? Sure we're all antsy and it's been 5 years already that this fight should happen but there are lots of PROS and CONS and issues from both sides for this mega-fight to materialize.

Canelos Promoter already told us the date is no problem and Cotto wants the fight in June so there is absolutely no problem with this date...the only problem again is Arum...i bet 100 bucks that he is already planning a Chavez Jr or some other mexican fighting on that date so he can stay with his BS excuse...and if nothing helps Manny gets cut in a friendly sparring with Buboy and the cut needs so much time to heal till Floyd gets in the ring again...the same old story...

Floyd seems genuinely interested and apparently made an offer. Pac wants the fight and thats clear. The snag is Bob, hes only trying to make it "seem" like hes making an attempt and when he finds his out, his charade will turn to - making it seem like he "tried everything".
