He's not serious about the fight according to ppl yet he goes over espinoza's head. Go figure, I guess a boss goes directly to a big boss to not do business...not sure what galaxy ppl live in or where he was wrong to say neither of these fighters are mexican to want to hawk themselves on that holiday. Would you put out two of the same product on the same day? I doubt but then again that's why 90% of businesses fail. The problem is you don't understand, and no one who talks about Arum speaking with CBS really understand. It's all about Al Haymon and Bob Arum talking it out. If Arum can't do business with Haymon, he can go speak to god himself, he's not getting anywhere. Many people will feel ****** when they realize this "Les Moonves" person or Espinoza or who ever, have no real control over who Floyd actually fights. Arum and Haymon have control over the Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight.

of course Bob Arum would want to push for Canelo-Cotto on Cinco De Mayo. That is the Mexican holiday and a lot of Mexicans know to tune in to that date for one of the biggest fights of the year. Being as Canelo is from Mexico and he always fights for them, that would be the biggest money making day for the fight to happen. It could easily do 1.5 million I'm guessing on that date. On another date it would probably lose a few hundred thousand buys. Mayweather Pacquiao would sell 3 million buys on Christmas morning. Not only that, Arum knows that Mayweather needs Pacquiao right now to keep that may date, so of course he is going to talk a little smack because canelo cotto moves mayweather off of that date unless he fights pacquiao and also mayweather loses his ppv crown if he doesn't fight pacquiao. Arum and De La Hoya could take all that away from mayweather and basically Brodie him. Push comes to shove obviously Arum is going to let pacquiao fight in May but why not try to get more favorable purse split and such. I would not just lay down and take it in the rear from Maywether either, Manny has earned his status as #2 ppv earner ever, only 8 division champ, 3x fighter of year soon to be 4x hopefully, and fighter of decade. If Arum truly blows the deal over this May date thing I will be highly pissed off myself and will blame arum 100%, but I am a fellow *** as well and I know exactly what he is doing, he is the slyest fox in the business, that's why hes been on top 50+ years. If the fight doesn't get made though, I really hope hes not dumb enough to have Pacman fight Vargas. That would just show how truly out of touch with the fans they are. I would love to see him take the IBF belt from Kell Brook and then push for a unification fight with Mayweather for Undisputed WW champion for both of their last fights, Winner take all the belts and all the glory in the history books.
