Now, We got fighters lasting way longer. Their downslide is much slower and linear. We no longer see the old saying "Getting Old Overnight" situation and fighters are staying at the top of their game way past the normal expiration date. Why you ask? It is not evolution of the human body. It is the evolution of synthetic hormones.

Training now compared to back then is basically the same, and nutrition has not changed much either.
i think at 30 most guys are still good unless they themselves just lose the hunger

unless we're going back to 100+ fights, then it's understandable, spending all your days in the gym and fighting every month will take a massive toll on you

so with that i dont agree it's synthetic hormones when comparing to the old timers, those guys just took alot mroe punishment

guys in their mid 30's looking prime have always been the most obvious sign of abuse and usually the only ones i can comfortably point and say "roider", except gamboa

The fact that this current version of Manny Pacquiao is considered to be in decline is testament to how good he was in his prime.

It's a horrible joke to ask for a 24 day cutoff because a video exposed that Manny was tested 24 days before the Hatton fight.

It's also bad enough that he would accept 14 days, when Mayweather was vocal in saying it's no longer gonna be on the table, after Pacquiao had walked away from it. It's almost troll-like.

Those two facts indicate that Pacquiao was never interested, nor willing to compromise. In my honest opinion, he became in love with the serious bank he was making and acknowledged that PEDs attributed to all that. I think that's obvious.
pac gave blood during the morales and hatton fight so i guess he wasnt juicing then?

              he use to praise pac.

but after pac was talking hatton fight even though hatton still needed to beat paulie he got all butthurt.

paulie is a very good boxer type with solid technique.

he sees a guy like pac, sometimes sloppy, lunging off balance, doesn't cut off the ring, wild, etc.

and thinks he's not that good. then to see pac destroy guys who beat you up....

ppl overrate technique n boxing skills even pro boxers.

some of our greatest fighters didn't gave the best skills or technique.

Malignaggi is trying very hard to get himself sued.

Glad we have yet another long thread about whether Pacquiao has doped and the significance of drug testing vis-a-vis previous/current Mayweather negotiations. We really needed another one . . .

The point is he turned down random testing during negotiations when it mattered. What he says to the media after blatantly refusing random testing means absolutely nothing.

What a joke of a statement. Where is your proof that pac is on drugs? Because he wasn't willing to compromise. Pac liked the money he was making on peds. Wow that evidence is good enough to use in a court of law.

paulie keeps talking about how manny grew in size. i wonder how he feels about marquez and peds. manny and jmm are ripped similarly all thru their first 3 fights but somehow marquez 'hulked' over manny in the last one.
