Hes shown poor stamina in many other fights too. How many times has he even gone 12 rounds, once? and that was at a dismal pace.
He's gone 12 twice I think, once vs Wlad too.

He's never looked that good after the middle rounds in any of his fights that went that far. He became sluggish and took too many punches. Clear signs of bad stamina.

You do realize how one becomes classified as an ATG right?

You have to beat other ATG's right? So if Wlad is the only ATG at Heavyweight then that means that all roads to ATG-ness lead through him. You have to beat Wlad in order to even have a shot at being considered an ATG. Since that isn't happening, Wlad cannot in theory beat a ATG. They're all challengers, up and comers, prime contenders or past-prime fighters. This literally cannot be achieved, which goes back to my statement of "It's all about the numbers".

If he can't beat ATG's, then he must increase his winning streak and title defenses. The only way he beats an ATG is if he lets someone like Wilder sit until he is about 90-0, with his WBC title, and then make him 90-1. Or if a Roy Jones-esque little great fighter moved up to challenge him.

Lower weight fighters usually don't have a problem with this as they continually bounce around weight classes and meet each other in catch-weight fights or for each others Titles. All a Heavyweight Champ can do is defend his title and unify if there is a belt out there.

No, you don't have to beat ATGs to become an ATG. But it is true that your worth/rating is determined by your competition. The only way Wlad's ranking will take a significant turn is if he defeats young prospects, retires and one of those said prospects becomes the man. A bit like Froch's win over Jean Pascal.

Yeah, but look at the intensity in how he throws his punches even in camp:

It takes that kind of physique to throw punches like that and not pull something.

              Sarcasm?
As he did get injured during that camp and had to pull out...

He did get injured. And if he wasn't training like a beast, he would've gotten injured even more often.

Mike Tyson cannot do all the intense bobbing and weaving he did without being built like a tank.

Not sure if serious... more muscle = more oxygen needed. More oxygen needed means less stamina. Thus why all the great distance runners are Ethiopian. A lot of energy expenditure favours those without a great deal of muscle.

So ALL fighters should look like skinny pencil necks? Mike Tyson took what Jack Johnson, liston and Frazier do and athletic-ized it with modern day training and nutrition. Take away his built muscle, and he may be able to go 12 rounds EASY in theory, but he would've never sniffed greatness.

Not sure why you would compare distance runners to Boxers. Other physical tools are needed besides stamina. It's apples and oranges. At best, you end up like Manny Pacquiao with stamina for days, which has a lot to do with genetics (or PED's if one believes in that theory), and not just training.

Don't they advise even the best conditioned boxers not to burn themselves out by doing too much early, or trying to blow a guy out of there when it isn't time yet.

Well, swimming is much better form of cardio than running. It engages all major muscle groups plus it doesn't put stress on your joints.
