The headbutt disorientated Wladimir. He'd box at range in the rematch.

Where is this back and forth 'slugfest'? That was no back and forth slugfest, that is a one sided ass whoopin'

I swear Klitschko fans live on another planet from everyone else
I still can't believe he got up from the first knockdown. As for the headclash, it came at the same time as a short left that dropped him. It's those two lefts that changed the fight. Interesting fight.

OK, so you missed the clash of heads at 2.34? Wladimir was cut from a butt, not a punch.

Wladimir was all over the place prior then at 15.12 Sanders lands a big left hand, Sanders then wisely pushes Wlads head into place where he lands another left hand.

The jolt came from a Sanders left hand, Wladimirs momentum causes his head to ever so lightly brush past Sanders as he crumpled to the canvas. If that 'headclash' attributed to anything then it really does do nothing but speak volumes for how fragile Wladimir is tbh.

Truth is he never recovered from the first left hand that landed

Who cares if he was cut? It's irrelevant. Watch the knockdown closely again and don't pay attention to the heads, watch the punch he eats. It's hellacious.

The complete sequence went like this:
              1. Sanders hits Wladimir with a left… Wladimir head snaps down.
              2. Wladimir moves his head up and crashes against Sanders' head (headbutt #1)
              3. Sanders connects with a right hook and uses his head as anvil (headbutt #2, Anvil Left)
              4. Sanders connects with a left hook and uses his head as anvil again (headbutt #3, Anvil Right) causing a cut (blood) above the left eye of Klitschko.

I always find it amusing how the same OTNB who laugh at how Klitschko was wasted by a golfer, as proof of his glass chin, never bother to actually check the facts of the boxer who did it, what actually happened during the fight (if they even analysed it) or credit Wladimir for continually getting UP from it all.

There is a slow motion of the entire event here...

You can see clearly it was an impact event with the head that could have crunched just about any boxer.

There's no dis*****g the victory or anything but there's also no dis*****g that this is what ****ed Wladimir up.

"ever so slightly brushed Sanders head"

                Yeah.. right!

Wlad would no doubt be chinned again. That china doesn't hold up too well when the other guys actually connect.

I completely disagree with you but am always intrigued by your analysis. Sanders could punch so no shame in the loss.

                    Sequence;
                    -left staggers wlad
-second left drops him with the near simultaneous headclash being irrelevant. Headclash or not he was going down.
