that was an off balance shot to be fair. he didn't look dazed at all. I still thought pulev had a better chin than what he showed against wlad. dunno if wlad is hitting harder in his older years or pulev's chin isn't what I thought it was but he got hurt every time he got touched by wlad. I really thought hed last till the late rounds but wlad proved me wrong

Wlad is the only hard puncher he's fought really, so it's hard to say if he's got a good chin. What we do know is that Wlad punches extremely hard. It takes a lot of power to put a 250 man with Pulevs frame out with one shot.

That is WHY it is no shame to occasionally be caught and dropped by a journeyman today.

In the past, when champs and top contenders fought lesser opposition, they got hit lots. But it didn't matter because the punches were bearable.

Today they are not bearable. That is why todays HW's like WK and Pulev fight more tentatively.

Watch Stivene vs Manswell as well, exactly the same. A single punch can end it. Look how careful they are.
