    Well that simply isn't true.

    He has on many occasions taken shots from some of the hardest punchers on record, shots that would have knocked out several past ATG's at once.

    You stop by with baseless comments that have no relevance to anything factual.

      Sequence;
      -left staggers wlad
      -second left drops him with the near simultaneous headclash being irrelevant. Headclash or not he was going down.
      Either way, we DO agree that Sanders can really punch and there was no shame in the loss.

        I think so but Corrie was a live dog.

        What irks me about many people when they talk about Wladimir is that they still believe he is the same fighter he was over a decade ago.. it's just not true.

          The jolt came from a Sanders left hand, Wladimirs momentum causes his head to ever so lightly brush past Sanders as he crumpled to the canvas. If that 'headclash' attributed to anything then it really does do nothing but speak volumes for how fragile Wladimir is tbh.

          Truth is he never recovered from the first left hand that landed
          The 'headbutt' excuse is one of the most pathetic excuses ever to be told.

          It's no different from what happens in pretty much every fight and certainly no worse than what Wlad does to his opponents every fight.

            Corrie was a big strong raw/crude guy with a punchers chance against anyone but Wlad's transition to his current cautious style would have made the same type of fight extremely unlikely.

              Bunch of Wlad haters.

              Same people Jockin' Lewis. What about Lewis being KTFO by guys who were nowhere near his level?

                How did Corrie react to being clinched? I've never seen it happen to him... at least, not thirty times a round.

                  Lewis was king Clincher also.

                    I just rewatched the end of that fight... the first KD came when Wlad was trying to initiate Clinchski.

                      no doubt he would beat him. wlad took sanders lightly but in hindsight it was the best thing that ever happened to him. he had some tough moments after against Williamson, Brewster & peter but he changed trainers & style shortly after that fight then it all came together after he beat byrd for the 2nd time...
