he usually clinches even more imo, this time it seemed he only tied up when he got hit as opposed to any time his opponent got close to being close.

I thought he was the same as ever. Only reason there weren't more is because Pulev wasn't walking to him. Even then Wlad would reach out and clinch when Pulev was standing still and feinting. It's completely unfair how Wlad gets away with fighting how he does. I've never seen a pro fighter clinch so much out of fear about getting hit. Then again he was getting rocked by jabs, so it's no mystery why.

they were both falling into clinches whenever theyd miss a punch but I don't think there was a lot of intentional holding with the exception of a couple times when pulev landed a clean punch

Are you kidding? I only watched it once and can remember double digit instances where Wlad clinched for zero reason, just walked forward with his arms out and grabbed.

Thought it was a good fight and Wlad did look good. Glad he might get fights picked up. HW division picking up with Wilder/Stiv/Fury/Joshua.

Side question if anyone wishes to answer:

Wlad speaks 4 languages, has a PHD, can sell in the UK and Germany/Russia/etc.. and is engaged to an american starlet.

And everyone i know knows who he is. Whether they watch the sport or not

Do you think hes a global icon?

It's not just the election. You can find threads here where I endure the herd to praise Dwyer. Cumulatively I think he has become ridiculous. His vids are longer and simply outlandish.

If anybody states he is ducking Shannon Briggs I know they are trolling and never rely to them on this topic again.
The best way to answer that is to compare him to Lewis. Think for a moment about all the young lions Lewis fought. He never avoided a fight with a guy who fans thought might beat him. Given the weak opposition blade should be chomping at the bit to fight wilder, fury, etc.

lewis did fight them all and never ducked a dangerous fight but in fairness to wlad he didn't have the same dangerous crop to chose from

I usually dont comment on THE HW division because its a waste of my time but you are going too far.

HW is totally irrelevant. I watched that fight due to the fact cartoon network didnt have ne decent anime on at the time.

The other guy just stood rite in front of Klitchsco with his left hand to the side asking to be punched in the face. If this is good Klitchsco I will never watch another fight with him in it.

The ring entrance was the best part. Stop talking down on Ali. Nobody from this era can hold a candle to Ali. Nothing u or Klitchsco can do to change that. Lennox beats Klitchsco 10 out of 10. A young Foreman destroys Klitchsco.
