Eh no, Berbick clearly won. It was close in the beginning, but then Berbick took over and Ali had nothing. Ali was lucky he wasn't in there with a better fighter than Berbick.

I think Vladimir is great. I don't slurp him up, I just admire his achievements as a fighter and a man. I get the whole Ali icon thing, but he was sort of a product of his time. He betrayed his own country and was a nasty character in general. Vladimir is always classy, did a lot of humanitarian work outside the ring, supports his own country, etc.

Pulev was a very credible opponent, and he did what he could. Vlad took a lot of rabbit punches. Usually punches to the back of your head can be dangerous, Vlad remained unfazed and finished the job swiftly. Masterful performance.

Pulev will be champ when Vlad retires, I have said this before.
