When I watched it for the first time I scored round 1 10-8 for Cotto because of the KD, but when I watched it on silence, There was a total difference. Clottey was dominating the first round and he did get knocked down. I scored it 9-9 when watching it on silent. Round 7 on silent I scored 10-8 for Clottey because Cotto did as much in that round as Donaire did against Rigondeaux in round 12. Watching fights on silent makes it so the crowd does not influence the scorecard. My new score is 114-112 Clottey.

    My Full Scorecard

    RD 1: 9-9
    RD 2: 10-9 Clottey
    RD 3: 10-9 Clottey
    RD 4: 10-9 Cotto
    RD 5: 10-9 Clottey
    RD 6: 10-9 Cotto
    RD 7: 10-8 Clottey
    RD 8: 10-9 Clottey
    RD 9: 10-9 Cotto
    RD 10: 10-9 Clottey
    RD 11: 10-9 Cotto
    RD 12: 10-9 Cotto

There was no way that Cotto won that fight. That was a gift decision Cotto got.
if you have to rewatch a fight to score it right and somehow still get a close outcome, then dont call it a gift decision...
you keep calling canelo-trout and canelo-lara robberies..
you still havent learned the difference between a close fight and a robbery ...

You know how much of an idiot you sound right now? Round 1 can't be 9-9 because of 10 point must and Cotto knocked Clottey down in the round to make it 10-8 in his favor, and no Clottey didn't dominate that round. Round 7 was clearly a Clottey round but theres no way in hell it was a 10-8 as Clottey didn't even hurt or stun Cotto to even think that that round was 10-8, that round is scored 10-9. Now, factor in the adjustments I made and you have a Cotto win by a point 114-113. "theres no way that Cotto won that fight"

Imagine how many other posters on here give 10-8 rounds for just winning a round without hurting the guy. I don't think he's alone.

A fighter who loses all his big fights shouldn't be rated, that said I consider Clottey a good fighter regardless but he is who he is, a fuckin' loser at the big stage.

He lost to Cotto, I'll score it again at some point but the most disturbing part is that he could have beat Cotto decisively, Cotto looked like he was having Margarito flashbacks at times. Clottey's head wasn't all in it.

Bias people give their favorite fighter or the guy whos fighting a boxer they don't like the rounds even when they lost, it happens every week around here so its pointless to even talk about fight scores really.

I do like reading about people re-watching fights and having different scores than the first time though, everybody always ****s on judges for not getting it right but they only get one look at it with the crowd in their ears and its not as easy as people might think, especially when two people can claim to see the same fight in two different ways, if there is no KO or its not a complete domination some jackass is going to find a way to score it for his guy.

lol Some crazy people in here. To get a 10-8 round without a KD you have to pretty much beat the other guy senseless to get it.

Close fight but Cotto won and and a blind Cotto at that.
